Per Gessle-- pop superstar, songwriter... author?

I have just finished reading _On Writing_ by Stephen King, which was a terrific read. In it, he gives advice to aspiring authors about how to craft a story, and he also gives us a little bit of his background and his life story.
Now, my thought is this– if Per wants to take a break to recharge his batteries, why not write a book on songwriting in the meantime? He could let budding songwriters into how his brain works, and how he comes up with such perfect pop songs. The title of the book– “How To Be A Middle-Aged Popstar”. :-)

Ally– geez, take a chill pill. Taking a break can mean many things to many people. Sure, the man is a songwriter, he *should* lay off songwriting and get his creative energy back. But writing a book is a different thing. Writing a book can be very cathartic for some, and hard labour for others. Maybe Gessle is so exhausted that he would fall into the latter category. I don’t know. And *nobody* knows for sure how exhausted he is, except for Per himself and his family. Besides, I’m not saying the man *should* write a book, it was merely a suggestion.
(Honestly, you guys, it’s getting harder and harder to come up with *new* Roxette topics without recycling the same topics over and over... just thought I would try something else.)

Writing a book, if he was telling it as a story and someone did that hard work in writing it all down, then fair enough... would be better like that!
