(For the statistical lovers who might say that with 7 notes you can do a huge lot of combinations, just say that to say that is as false as a wooden Euro coin... Music is not only random sounds, it’s sounds with an order and a meaning, and the meaning is given by how they are placed. And keeping certain intervals gives the music it’s beauty and meaning. The “accepted” variations in rhythm are not that big either, so it’s not really hard to sound close to something else...)

And to tell you more, the way the chorus of Kung av sand is *instrumented*, is reminiscent to Free as a bird by The Beatles.

Per always steal songs! another example is Speedo which is all along the watchtower by bob dylan. he even steals songs from himself! :) what about kix and, god i cant remember the name off hand but its on the pg by pg album!

Per does at least make covers which are better than the original, which most other coverbands (around 99.99% of them) can’t say.

I think it’s horrible that Gessle has stolen Kung av sand (King of sand) from 2 of the most famous songs in the world, the vers is exactly “The first cut is the deepest” by Cat Stevens and the chorus is VERY similiar to “Mrs Robinson”. Hasn’t ANYONE noticed this? Strange.
