Is Per being Greedy ? ?

Its me again !!! i was think they is an awful lot of per going around, i was just thinking do you think over the last few years he is getting greedy ?
facts
Marie not having enough input in last roxette album, Her demos in my book are just as good as pers final songs (dont shoot me please)
The ballad hits lead single , leads vocals by per ( although marie makes the song with her breathy vocals and her sexy look in vid ;))
The pop hit songs sung by per on lead vocals, (i know she was ill though)
most bouns songs all per again
He went on to do solo, then tour
he went on to do GD , the tour
He thinks roxette will get back togeather he has been writing English songs. HANG ON !! isnt marie one half of roxette , why cant she do half the album or work togeather with him ? you know it wouldnt suprise he if he takes roxette by him self.
He must be getting a shit load from doing all this
and writing credits. The man is keeping himself VERY busy , getting as much as he can is he or maybe not ?
Who owns the name Roxette aswell ?

OMG, he just writes good songs....it has always been Per (and sometimes with MP) who wrote the songs....and well, he makes FANTASTIC songs! I’m sure greed would not be the case, since he has got enough money....

If I read correctly, Roxette was originally intended to be: Marie’s voice on Per’s songs. Per wasn’t intended to be a singer in Roxette... but it turned out that way after all.
But Roxette still is Per’s songs, Marie may contribute with a few songs... but her style is too Different from Roxette or Per to make it a 50/50 in song composition.

it’s not the first time that they go “their way”.. In 96 GT had a tour + an EP (already in 95 they had a greatest hits with couple of new songs) and then in 97 he released his solo (English) album :)

Marie got sick, in case you missed it, and perhaps does not want to work on Roxette stuff till she feels ready 100%. Marie comes accross as a person who will put her family first, and after her health scare gets my backing 110%!

@ Denstandigsresan - I´m with you... I also preffer Per´s songs in English for Roxette (actually I preffer Per´s songs in Swedish, German, French, Spanish, etc... Gessle is number one for ever ).
And thank God we have Per working so much, cause he´s giving to us really good stuff... can´t believe that there are people complaining about it. Go Per !! :)
About Roxette... it´s not Per´s fault if he writes most of the songs that the 3 of them (Per, Marie & Clarence) believe it´s the best ones.
Marie´s moment will come...

- If you ever read the booklets make sure you read well, because almost every Roxette song is by Per... which is the surprise in him making songs for Roxette?
- The label Roxette is owned by Per. He renamed Gyllene Tider into Roxette when Marie was just the girl doing backing vocals... in some songs...

Has Per ever stopped being greedy? Because to try to take yourself to the top “by any means” (he’s tried in a band, solo, and as a duo) and succeed in all of them, you have to be of a special kind.

Per’s greed has nothing to do with his composer skills. He’s incredibly good in what he’s doing!!
He’s a disciplined and hard worker, don’t forget that...He has an amazing and very constant creativeness which is not Marie’s case.
I think Marie is great, she’s the image in Roxette and the voice as well. But Per remains the brain of this band and this will never change.
I will never stop in admiring him for what he constantly does. Of course the man does what he wants with his money, but one must be blind if one does not see the EFFORT he puts in everything he does all the time...He’s incredible! And it would be a cruelty not to admit it or to overlook it...

People havent give marie’s english work a chance yet so how can people say they dont like it without hearing it, i find that very strange ? she has only done a few on roxette and then the demos which are what they say demos lol.

Is a known fact that Marie is better singer than Per, but when it comes to sing live, Marie has some of the worst performances I ever heard... the one in the Mtv European Music Awards is awful... her voice is really strange.
Per live always sounds great !! Wish I could go to Sweden to see him live !! :(

@ LoneGunman: Marie had a heavy cold at the EMAs 1994. You see that she wore a scarf. I was a bit shocked as well when I saw it on TV. Because I enjoyed her performing SIMC live in September and November 1994 and it sounded great both times. ;-)

Bloody hell what would this place be like if there was NOTHING. People complain enough there is no Marie.
