What should the next album sound like?

Comparing the next album to an older album, which sound would you like them to come back with?
I’d like them to come back with an album that has Tourism songs like “So Far Away” and “Never Is A Long Time”. And rock songs like Crash! Boom! Bang!’s “Sleeping In My Car” and “Lies”. And also some grungier stuff like Have A Nice Day’s “Crush On You”, “7twenty7”, “Staring At The Ground” and “Pay The Price”.
I’d like it to sound really natural. Grand pianos, loud electric guitars, bass and drums... and possibly some orchestras. None of this Shooting Star-programming stuff - a lot of that sounds more dated than Pearls Of Passion.
And I’d like to see Michael Ilbert back in the production seat! (did you know that he mixed The Cardigans’ “Long Gone Before Dayight” album?)
I’d like for Mr. Ilbert to incorporate something like 03.45: No Sleep (a Cardigans songs) into the next album. I’d love to hear a track that just has Marie’s vocals and an organ (or some other minimulist instrument). Like The Cranberries “No Need To Argue” track - georgous!

i agree that it should be a mixture between tourim´s ballads, cbb´s powerpop songs and hand´s grunge. however, it should definitely not sound like room service, which is in my opinion a bad copy of look sharp. moreover, i also think that a sad ballad without many instruments should be included as a great ending. something like “every day”,for instance, which always leaves me thinking about something different every time i listen to it.

Rock mixed with synths now that’s what I love.
Room service was Great.... Except for “Make My Head go Pop” cuz that was just annoying.

I remenber answering same question in another topic long time ago... anyway, I´d like:
1) POWER GUITARS SONGS (like Hotblooded, Sleeping in my car, opportunity nox, lies...)
2) STRONG BALLADS (like Fading like a flower, Things will never be the same...)
3) SOME SWEET BALLADS (like A thing about you, It takes yo no time to get here...)
In general, 80% strong-guitars songs (up-tempos) and 20% ballads (PLEASE, NOT ANOTHER HAND - full of ballads)

Yeah, a really sad and bitter ballad without drums or synths would be cool. And programming by Anders Herrlin, as he lately joins the Gessle camp again. But they can do whatever they want... as long as it is a new Roxette album!
