If you listen really closely to Roxette’s songs, many times over the course of weeks or months, it becomes impossible to pronounce a single song the “best,” or even have a favorite, because the quality of so many of their pieces is so high. In fact, it’s necessary to take care not to listen TOO much, such that the tunes/lyrics lose their meaning or impact. That prompts curiosity about how the artists themselves regard the work they must perform over and over onstage, working each time to make the song seem fresh and energetic to the audience... do they eventually sicken of their own material? Billy Joel declared he would never again sing “Piano Man.” He admitted he was sick of that great song.

great memories...I remember seeing the video for the first time on MTV when Simone introduced them saying they’re back...I was like did she say Roxette? Then the video started and I was wondering who is that woman who seemed bald-headed at first...Then the subtitle said Roxette and Sleeping In My Car and the album Crash!Boom!Bang! (which I, at that time, thought was going to be Fireworks - that’s what the Finnish FC had told...)
Anyway, the song is simply brilliant - love the guitars and the guitar-drum thing before the chorus! Fantastically produced!
