What meant to you to see Rox LIVE!!!!!

Until nowadays, the 2 april of 1995 has been the happiest day in my life. I live in Santiago(Chile). I couldn´t go to the 1992 concert because i was very child, but i´ll never forget the huge excitement that they brought here.
One day in 1995 i was reading the news and suddenly”Roxette Comesback” AAAAAAAAH i could not believe it. Of course i was in front of them in the concert, when i saw them there i cried and cried the whole time. My Heart and my soul were extremily happy. I’ll never forget them........
I have a pic of rox in chile in 1992 if you want it just write an email to [email protected] and i’ll send it to you.
Bye
Cheers.

the 2 of november 2001 Vienna.. i couldn’t beliave it until the first sounds of Crush..when they strt to sing and i saw Marie and Per 2 m away from me..i ......can’t describe it......
it seem that i coudn’t be more happier..but after the concert i talked with them... every time when i think about it i must see again the pix that i made so i can believe it’s true...

WOWOWW I was that day(02-04-95) in the front row & it was the first time (92 same reason... too child :-( ) well That day was one of the most importat of my life. & as Marie said (in every show) I really hope to see Them very soon again!

it’s this overwhelming feeling you only get when your dreams come true :)I’ve waited soooo long for what i got in 2001 thanks to Per and Marie :)

It was everything! In 1991 I was too young to go (my parents didn’t want to accompany me and I wasn’t allowed to go alone either) and in 1994 I was in junior highschool and I couldn’t go either... So Zurich 2001 meant really really everything though we had sh***y places... ;-)

Finding out they where touring in July 92, it was early morning, I ran upstairs begging my mum at 6am in the morning to book tickets... I came home from school and they where booked... my parents took me, what a day 17th July 1992.. also my mum’s birthday! The second concert was in November 1994.. same place Sheffield Arena... the third was Stockholm 2001, a total dream come true to se Rox in Stockholm! ;)

it was great. I was 10, so it meant a lot. I’ve idolised jonas isacsson ever since. They rocked, and Per was dead cute! ;-)

A dream come true!! March 22nd 1995, who would’ve thought Roxette could give a concert in such a little place like Costa Rica. But they did, and it was one of the finest days in my life, a total adventure, excitment, happyness, amazing moments... dreams came true that day.

for me is just a dream... i’ve never seen them play live and i think it’s very herd to seen them in the future here in argentina.

“I was too young when Joyridie Tour went on”. Oh my, you make me feel old ;-)

Stuttgart 2001 - the best concert of all i’ve ever been to (Stuttgart 1995, Munich und Zurich both 2001).

I screamed as loud as i could “Marie i love you”, i almost lost consciousness when she looked in my direction and said “we love you too” to the audience...more than a dream come true!!!

I hunger sooo much to see them again.

—**** R O X E T T E 4 ever ***—

Marie: I will always love you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!

Never have seen roxette live, so I don´t have a story :’(

I thought it was going to be a wonderfully shockingly nice experience, something like “the best in my life”, but when the supporting act left and Per was already singing “Crush on you” the feeling was not at all like that.
It felt just right, like being in the right place in the right moment, listening to the right kind of songs sung by the right band. Nice feeling, great feeling, but nothing like “things will never be the same” after this.
I don’t know, I guess I’m not such a fan.

The RS showcase in Cologne march 2001 was really special to me. To see Rox performing live again after 6,5 years was incredible. The intimate atmosphere of the venue, the small crowd of 200-300 people, wow! Will never forget...

I first saw them live when they kicked off the CBB World Tour in Helsinki in September ’94.

I had been an absolute Roxette fanatic for 3 years back then and it was an ultimate dream-come-true! I was only 10 and it was very exciting to hear the band doing soundcheck - hearing familiar bits of tunes like The Big L and Almost Unreal.

I was even interviewed by a Finnish tabloid...Not that I really could get anything out of my mouth - - luckily I had older company so the interview got smoothly finished. :)

The Room Service concert was not that special since it there were really no surprises cos I knew what they were going to play. Don’t get me wrong, the gig was a thrill anyway! Beating every other concert I had seen at that time (A-ha, Bryan Adams, Laura Pausini, Depeche Mode).

Who can answer that question! the first time was edinburgh ’91, i was 9 at the time, it was great, stood for 8 hours outside to get in the front row- (only to get moved after glass tiger cos i was too small), still had great time tho, i’ll never forget that rush i got when they came on the stage to hotblooded- fantastic!

saw them at sheffield ’92 and then gothenburg ’01, both concerts were fab, gothenburg was prob the best for me tho as i was obv a lot older and this time i WAS at the front!

@ claire

just out of curiosity, why didnt you catch their cbb gig? they were in the uk weren’t they?

Parents! i begged but for some reason they didnt take me? i was only 12 so couldnt go alone, was gutted tho cos neighbours went to sheffield.
They made up for it tho and took me to see Per in Cologne in ’97

The first time (and the last) I saw Roxette live was on October 2001 in Barcelona, during the “Room Service Tour”.

It was amazing. I enjoyed myself a lot in that concert.. I´ll never forget it.

it was the best day of my life!

well it was the first and what probably might be the last time i ever see them back in sept 2000 when they did promo tour for the usa greatest hits. I saw them in new yourk with my mother who was still an avid rox fan and my brother who hadn’t touched a rox album in yrs. He was so impresseed he became a fan again that day. it was one of the most magical moments ever, only thing that pissed me off was, well there were 2 things. Almost NONE of my pics of marie came out, and if I knew thye were allowing it I would have video taped it cause for me it was a defining moment in my life

did my cousin open this topic??

Ooops, forgot to include a couple of other times i saw roxette altho they were not concerts, i saw them in 1999 in london doing some promotion and in Blackpool (would u believe) in 01 did a couple of songs for the switching on of the lights!
