I also like Sandra very much. However, I don’t have any of her 80’s albums - just two collections (“My Favourites” & “The Essential”).

Madonna - Like A Prayer
ABC - The Lexicon Of Love
George Michael - Faith
Roxette - Look Sharp!
Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair
Eurythmics - Savage
INXS - Kick

Only a few of my favorites.

Phil Collins - No Jacket Required
Kate Bush - The Whole Story
Peter Gabriel - So
New Order - Substance
Twisted Sister - Come Out and Play
Fleetwood Mac - Tango In The Night

There are many more, of course...

for me were good only 4:

1 look sharp
2 pearls of passion
3 the visitors (abba)
4 live (abba)

“Stone Roses” by The Stone Roses is absolutely the best.

I have always wanted to buy ABBA’s The Visitors! I have only Gold & More Gold from the group, and as the singles from The Visitors (eg The Day Before You Came and Under Attack) are just diamonds, I wonder if the other tracks are worth the buy?

@ animalkingdom: The Day Before You Came & Under Attack are not singles from The Visitors. They were afterwards and were not released on any album around the time of the single releases. One Of Us and Head Over Heels are singles from The Visitors, Abba’s last studio album. (Under Attack is a really fantastic POP song!) All the best, Rich

“when all is said and done” is other well-know song from visitors album...

i love “slipping through my fingers” and “soldiers” that was not released as singles, but they are 2 of my fav abba songs...

such a list should also include

Depeche Mode - Black Celebration (and maybe even Speak & Spell - a much underrated recording, I think)
Sting - Nothing Like The Sun
Pet Shop Boy - Behaviour
The Police - Synchronicity
The Waterboys - This Is The Sea
Simple Minds - New Gold Dream

My 2 cents:

Peter Gabriel - So
Proclaimers - Sunshine On Leith
INXS - Kick
Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever
U2 - The Joshua Tree

Alphaville “Forever Young”
INXS “X”
Duran Duran “7 And The Ragged Tiger”
a-ha “Hunting High And Low”
Jennifer Rush “Heart Over Mind”
Madonna “Madonna”
Bruce Springsteen “Born In The USA”
Cyndi Lauper “True Colours”
Abba “The Visitors”

Human League Dare
Depeche Mode Music For Masses
Duran Duran Rio

anything by scandal, motley crew, the culture club

bauhaus - mask
christian death - catastrophe ballet
sisters of mercy - floodland

oh so many..... it could go on forever!

Some have been named already like Roxette or the Stone Roses...

Gyllene Tider – Moderna Tider
Pixies - Come on Pilgrim
The Smiths – The Queen is dead
Inspiral Carpets - Life
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
The Cure - Disintegration
Leonard Cohen - I’m your Man
Jane’s Addiction - Nothing’s Shocking

...and loads more i can’t think of right now.

SAVAGE Eurythmics
THE HOUNDS OF LOVE Kate Bush

3 examples of pure pop magic...

HUNTING HIGH AND LOW A-ha
TRUE BLUE Madonna
ENJOY YOURSELF Kylie Minogue

Depeche Mode “Black Celebration”
Sandra “Into the secret land”
Frida “Something´s Going On”

has anyone got the song Little Girl by Sandra?
