Can anyone tell me, if I can buy new rereleased albums in FI ? I am making a business trip next week & will visit Helsinki/Turku/Tampere, so I do want to buy them. And if some shops with rarities are nearby, I’d be happy to make a look to!
Can anyone help?

Sure you can found. I think the best place is deparment store Stockmann in the center of Helsinki. Good place is also Free Record Shop near Stockmann.

Rarities you found on Popparienkeli. Address is Frederikinkatu 12. It’s also center of Helsinki.About 10 minutes walk from Stockmann.

Whaat?
You got Rarities in Popparienkeli?
I’ve gone thru their warehouse (or their box) of Roxete stuff and I have never come across Rarities...well, every day you learn something new... anyway, I bought Dance Passion LP for 400 FIM there.. pretty treat!!
Anyway, if you’re outside of the Nordic countries and coming to Finland, you really should pay a visit to Popangel. They have some decent stuff and most of the (Roxette) stuff ain’t so pretty expensive! :)
Oh AND: We’ve got the latest GT collection at Stockhmann here in Tampere, too! At least the last time I checked it out! Welcome oveR!

animalkingdom, I understand that Kikbalo means some rare records, not just Rarities CD :) Anyway, I bought mine Rarities CD at Åhlens, but i saw it also on Keltainen Jäänsärkijä store many years ago. I saw it also some other store in Helsinki, but I don’t remember where :)

Try also “Digelius” shop. Ask the seller for “special stuff” :D Free records shop will have GT latest albums for sure (try one at Mannerheim street)

Thanx a lot for your replies!
I am not looking for Rarities album, nor for any other old official album nor single. Just brand new items and rare stuff: interesting bootlegs, official Laser Disks ( I do want a C!B!L! LD), etc.
Will visit all shops you mentioned, coz will be in Finland for 8 days (25.04 - 03.05) and have pretty lot of free time.
Offtopic - what else is worth visiting in FI for a foreigner?
Offtopic2 - as I know, April 26 a new Nightwish single is released - any info about signing sessions (or even live promos!!!) will be appreciated! :)

I doubt Digelius has any Roxette-related records. Popparienkeli is a very good store, but their prices are sky-high. I used to shop a lot at Keltainen Jäänsärkijä, but it seems they have changed their product range lately. A good store - which I haven’t checked out lately, though - is Hippie Shake Records in Hakaniemi. Black and White Records is nearby so I recommend to visit them at the same time.
All in all, you can probably find Roxette and Marie Fredriksson records well in Finland, but not so many old Gyllene Tider or Per Gessle material.

I was on Black and White shop couple of weeks ago. Nothing rare Roxette or singles at all.

Stockmann’s probably has them, if you’re lucky.
