Just got tickets to see Sting & Annie Lennox together this July. Sooooooooooooooo excited!!!
I need to shower now (and the two events two aren’t mutually exclusive).

Got two from Ticketmaster—they ranged in price from $37 (mine were nthe $47 range) to $99. The pair ran me, between fees + the actual rice, about $120ish.

(Had to dredge this one up from deep in the pile.)
StillFar—how was the concert for you? What was played? Ethrill gave a a set list for Annie Lennox and said she sang backup for Sting on We’ll Be Together Tonight. . .

the show was AMAZING! I saw Annie before and knew what to expect from her. She was incredible, 5 minutes standing ovations at the end of her show. I hoped for more songs from Bare, unfortunately she didn’t play Honestly, 1000 Beautiful things :(. Highlights of her show must have been Cold (breathtaking), Why (incredibly beautiful), No More I Love Yous and of course Sweet Dreams which made the sold out Bell Centre a nut house.
Sting was great. There was the most beautiful video animation supporting his show. He sang a lot from his Sacred Love album, unfortunately there must have been a technical problem or a problem with his voice (or maybe I was just spoiled after the performance of Annie).
I really hoped for some nice duets (thought they were capable of sharing their talent) but they just joined for the song you mentioned.
Look forward to an incredible night!!!!!!!

Thanks! I’m really looking forward to it now. The friend I’m going with is more keyed up to see Sting, but me, I’m for Annie all the way. So glad to hear it was great. It’s almost a four hour drive for me to get there so I’ll be really ready to be there. Ten days. . .

I guess you have more reasons to look forward to the concert than your friend ;)
If you want to read a real good review of the concert (agree with it 95%) go to http://www.canada.com/montreal/montrealgazette/news/story.html?id=0c588f...
oh and I checked the set list on ethrill, there was only one difference in Montreal, Wonderful was replaced with Loneliness and the order wasn’t the same, besides that nothing changed and Sting...he played the song you would expect him to play!

St. Louis was spitting rain and cooler than usual for July. Just before she took the stage the rain stopped and stayed away until the encores. What a fantastic live performer! It was GREAT! Worth every penny.
The Set:
1. Legend In My Living Room
2. Little Bird
3. No More “I Love You’s”
4. Pavement Cracks
5. Cold—Sounded Incredible, love this song even more now
6. Here Comes The Rain Again—(on piano) Slow and sexy and so much better. (At the UMB Pavillion in St. Lous there is lawn seating and she dedicated this one to those seated on the wet, wet lawn.)
7. Walking On Broken Glass
8. Waiting In Vain—A favorite track, very pleased it was here
9. Missionary Man—Rocked! The version Eurythmics did for Peacetour. This version should be rerecorded and released.
10. I Need A Man—Very fun
Encores:
11. Sweet Dreams—had the house on their feet
12. Why
+ We’ll Be Together with Sting—great duet!
(There might have been another song in there, but I really don’t remember anything else from Bare being performed.)
Both Anne & Sting sounded tremendous live. My only complaint was that her set was so short, only an hour, where Sting played an hour forty-five (including 15 minute version of Roxanne—could have been a bit shorter for my tastes).
All in all, a great show. I wish I could have afforded seats right down front, but I was thrilled to be there. All in all—Gooooood tiiiiimes. . .

If only Annie had been with him. She’s never been to Belfast. Now that I’m living in London I hope my luck will change. She rox my sox!
