Rox songs you don't think you'll ever get bored of
Small-talker said on February 25, 2004 16:23:
Please don’t come off boring and say “all of them”. There has to be some songs you don’t like. And if there are too many songs that you ’don’t think you’ll ever get bored of’, just mention the ones that you never liked.... that is, if you’re not all too peeved off at me, for somestrange reason or another!
Anyway... here are mine:
- It Must Have Been Love
- Spending My Time
- Watercolours In The Rain
- Fingertips (album version)
- The Heart Shaped Sea
- The Rain
- Never Is A Long Time
- Here Comes The Weekend
- So Far Away (Tourism version)
- Run To You
- The First Girl On The Moon
- Go To Sleep
- I Don’t Want To Get Hurt
- Wish I Could Fly
- Anyone
- Pay The Price
- Staring At The Ground
- Beautiful Things
- The Centre Of The Heart
- A Thing About You
... wow, I’m surprised by the amount of ballads. I guess I’m just a big old softey! It’s pretty much well known that ballads sound fresher for longer than up-tempo stuff. Take the Tourism album, for insatnce. Songs like So Far Away and Never Is A Long Time still sound like they could’ve been made yesterday, whereas songs like Keep Me Waiting and Come Back obviously sound early-90’s.

... But now .... she Doesn’t live here anymore!!!!
I can’t get it out of my mind, it’s one of my favourites.
It’s so energic, it’s sad, very sad (at least to me) but I love it.
It’s like Det är över nu, sad lyrics, but the music makes you jump, dance, sing loud!!
I don’t know, thats what they make me feel, strange songs....

Well, I have to say I don’t have any. If I listen too much to any song I get fed up with it. I guess that’s the reason why I haven’t listened to Roxette at all for more than half a year now.... it would be a pity to make more of their songs boring.

To be honest i dont think i could ever get bored of any Roxette song because i listen to them all day, every day and i love it!!
roxtexanet said on February 29, 2004 21:37:
I don’t really tire of many Rox songs either, probably because there are so many of them (+GT, +Per, +Marie, etc.) that there just isn’t an opportunity to overplay any one song! But if I had to pick a song that I’m always in the mood for, I’d say “The Centre of the Heart,” which has to be my favourite song ever. Never tire of the new songs on “TBH” and “TPH” either, but maybe they’re still too new to get sick of... (probably not (-: ).
