After several mega flop albums ( not medium flops like Roxette:), duran Duran are back at #4 in the uk album charts with a 7 year old record (Greatest)
this after Tears For Fears peaking at #6 with their greatest hits ( from 1992!!!!) two weeks ago! Come on EMI UK ( or Capitol or whatever) , do something for Roxette!! Could you imagine DBUGTTC being #3 or something in the charts?:)
By the way, Duran Duran is also on EMI...

I believe I remember seeing Tears For Fears’ ’Tears Roll Down’ reissued. #6 is amazing for an older album.

omg I love them! But you need to remember D2 and TFF are British groups... if you´re European you have no luck in UK charts. That´s the way it goes, how lame :(

btw I think it was Brit Awards that made The Greatest climbing in the charts, they got Lifetime Award.

the reason they r getting so much attention is its the original line up of the band promoting the album they are on the soundtrack to quere eye for the straight guy with a new song, and there are alot of rumours of a new album...what good would it do roxette to put something out now that they themselves can’t promot and then they wont have anything new until 2005? maybe?

Well, maybe they could include a song in a soundtrack, that’s a good way to be update even without a new album. Besides, I’ve always wanted another Roxsong in a movie ;-)
