Jonas Akerlund Top 10 on MTVe - NO ROXETTE...

MTV Europe just played a Top 10 of Jonas Akerlund videos, NONE of which was a Roxette clip. Why the hell does MTVe hate Roxette that much? I mean, previously they had several votes every time Roxette released somethig that they asked the visitors of their website ’What do you think, is this Roxette’s last release?’ or ’Are they going to split now?’ and stuff. It’s been ages since they last played a Roxette video. (Meanwhile, their other channel, VH1 Europe plays Roxette very often, new releases are always on heavy rotation.)
Still, about 60% of Jonas’ videos are from Roxette, Per / Marie. Yet MTVe played none of them. This is more than irritating...

Firstly there are two versions of this Jonas Top 10 going around MTV and on both versions Roxette does not feature...In my opinion 7 out of the 10 videos they show are crap...they could at least added Wish I could fly one of those lists

I am sure that Akerlund does not hear anything about this list :) If seriously this list was definitely censored. But still Akerlund works with Roxette with pleasure.

All MTV play is new CRAP that is never going to be as successful as Roxette.

I will never understand why MTV act as if Roxette never even existed. I guess songs like “Joyride” and “It must have been love” don’t ring the bell for MTV. Not anymore anyway (.... back then, MTV played Roxette like no tomorrow)

You´re all correct, MTV dont play Roxette as much as they should. But they DID play “It Must Have Been Love” last weekend, I saw it!

You’re right, VH1 used to play some Roxette. But I have never ever saw Roxette on VH1classic which is also a shame. Only VH1Europe plays Roxette actually...and not too often...just some “LTYH” or “The Look” from time to time at “So ’80s”...

VH1 classic plays different types of videos. Really not of Roxette’s style. But VH1e plays quite a lot... okay... relatively lot. Whenever they have a new release, VH1e plays it quite often.
