I was shock the other day, my local MY LOCAL! radio station played “Dressed For Success”, I had to check the CD player had not switched it’s self on!

Hmm think it was It Must Have been Love. But today when I was waiting for the bus, a car drove by and the guy in the car was listening to You cant Put Your Arms around whats Already Gone. Maybe it was the radio, or maybe he was playing the HAND album, who knows?

I guess The Look or Dressed for success. In Radio Uno, one of the most important radio stations in Costa Rica they play Roxsongs all the time, but those and Dangerous are the ones they play the mostly. I also have heard Un día sin ti a lot of times in other radio stations.

It was Dangerous a few days ago on Alsterradio! But when I had my last aerobic lesson the trainer put on a kind of dance megamix which contained a really ugly techno/dance version of MATAH... Very unpleasant.

Many of my friends know that I like roxette much. Almost every time they hear a popular rox-song they remember it and later on tell me they’ve heard it. So I often get greetz like “Hey, how are you? Fine? Btw, I heard sleeping in my car on my way to work today”

In England you don’t hear Roxette very much on the radio : ( but sometimes some BIG radio stations play The Look and IMHBL.

The most recent Roxette song to be played on the radio here is Almost Unreal. Yes, that’s right, most of Australia hasn’t heard anything new from Roxette since 1995 (although I have heard rumours that something from HAND got played at least once, somewhere)...
Always Breaking My Heart was played perhaps half a dozen times, Joyride, Listen To Your Heart, and The Look are played every now and then, and that’s it. Oh, and the “cool” radio stations still take every opportunity, few though they are, to ridicule Roxette and those who like the music.

Wish I Could Fly got a bit of airplay whenit first came out in Melbourne.... I’ve only heard The Look, IMHBL and LTYH since, and even those haven’t been for around 4 years.
Though listening to Triple M these days probably doesn’t help.

Well, the last “new” song I heard on the radio was “Opportunity Nox”.
However, there is a spanish radio station called “Kiss fm” which is always playing these old rox songs (IMHBL, LTYH, SMT and WICF)

They just don’t play Rox songs on Irish radio. Maybe twice a year they’ll play IMHBL on the Golden Oldies show but other than that....
... so disappointing! Remember the good ol’ days when you couldn’t turn the radio on without hearing a classic Rox song?

the last roxette song I have heard on the radio is must have been love. Our radio stations have never played anything new of roxette. They play stuff from CBB (rarely) thats as new as it gets! Oh wait, they may have played WICF once.

well, i just posted a new thread on this. I played “Looking for Jane” on my radio show on Fresh Air 87.7 and the airwaves of the capital of Scotland (Edinburgh that is!) were filled with some warm sunshine and fantastic rox tunes...
The last time I heard a Rox song outside Fresh Air was It must have been love on Radio 2 not so long ago!

Since my last response on 2/20, the next time I heard Roxette on the radio was just this last week.
Ironically the local played not The Look or IMHBL or Dressed For Success, but version of LTYH (which I can NEVER remember hearing this station play) with a sax part where the guitar solo is normally. Not sure I ever remember hearing this version, but I sang along in the shower just the same.
