Hey guys!
i haven’t come here for over a year, for tons of reasons :(, and I just wanted to let you know that, if you like Alanis Morissette, she’s coming out with a new album called “So Called Chaos” on April 13. The first single, “Everything”, will be on radio Feb.23rd. The album was co-produced by Alanis with Tim Thorney and John Shanks, and the first reviews it got are impressively positive!
The tracklist is the follwing:

Ohhhhhhhhh so cool... great artist fantastic music... I saw her a good few years back on tour on my birthday at Manchester Evening News Arena... I think it was in 1999, in fact I am certain it was!

Sorry to dissapoint, but i just heard that the new Garbage album won’t b out till February 2005! A whole year to wait... I know, it’s depressing!
Some Garbage news: they released details of a new song, it’s called Bad Boyfriend and has Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters drumming on it! Sounds interesting, doesn’t it. And also, they announced details that a duet with Marilyn Manson is close, whether this means it’ll be on the album or not - i don’t know. But i hope so. They both have very similar, and very great, sounds - for that duet I’m imaging Push it mixed with Silence Is Golden. I can’t wait.
BTW, thanks for those links. I can’t believe Alanis is already releasing a new album, it seems like only 3 months ago I was buying the Precious Illusions single (UK #56). Ah well, it has been 3 years - like all her albums!
THE “EDIT”: And Purlemedusa. Simple Together is depressing. But ’Offer’ (a b-side to her Precious Illusion single) is by far more depressing. I’d check it out if I were you, it’s gorgeous!

There are some European tour dates on the website... but no date for the UK... although I know she is playing London! come on come up NORTH!

HA HA HA HA HA! She already performed in Ireland. She performed a 7-song set as part of the ’One Big Night’ celebrations on May 1st (it was the date that 10 countries joined the EU).
And, I just bought the Everything singles, have you? Please do - the b-sides are great!

Both of these singles are great! The ’Vancouver Sessions’ are supposed to be ’acoustic’ versions of the songs - but these play more like really good demos than cheap acoustic songs.
Only 2 more days then I’ll have So Called Chaos in my CD collection - New Releases are released here in Ireland at 4pm on the Friday (to be exact)! I CAN’T WAIT!

PS:News (on UK’s Teletext) states that ’other top 20 new entries are’: Avril Lavigne, 2Play (have had 3 top 20 hits and still don’t know who they are!), Kasabian, Jay-Z, The Charlatans, Alanis Morissette, Goldfrapp, Method Man and Joss Stone (songs are not in order of appearanace).
Oh, and by the way... that stupid Frankee song F U Right Back ’looks certain to end Eamon’s 4-week run at No 1’.
This is just getting stupid - who is buying these bloody songs?! We’ve had well over 4 months of the crappiest No 1’s in the History of the UK chart (another thing to be thankful to America for!)

Why can’t you just accept that her fans here love it! Listen, if Marilyn Manson came back with a totally crap album (which I think is what he did with The Golden Age), do you think I’d be slating it here? No, I’d respect your taste, because I respect Marilyn Manson. Although I don’t like his music, I still respect what he’s doing. It’s only rubbish like Linkin Park that I flame here!
