My dad once came up with an idea, he also hates ppl throwing the smoke to his face and he said it would be fun to see the smoker’s face if he would spit the beer out of his mouth on the smoker “by accident” :P “oops, sorry” :D and if he complains bout the stain on his/her shirt, he would answer “i have been smoking your smoke too, so you owe me xxx€ for cleaning my lungs” :D:D

My dad smoked, until he suffered a near fatal heart attack in 1991. My mum smokes. she’s tried stopping, i’ll give her that, but only a couple days, and she was evil all that time. For a week she’s had a very painful nose, and I’d convinced myself she’s got cancer. The pain is gone now, so she tells me. I can’t stand knowing she might die due to smoking those things. She only started cause her mum died when my mum was in her teens. :(
And they make you stink.

Neither of my parents smoke, but my Grandad did and he died 7 years ago of Lung Cancer - not that I gave a shit (another long story!)

In the UK there is based a new promo to make people give up smoking... The adverts are all over the place and really turn your stomach! it sort of shows picture of the arteries of a 32 year old smoker and all this awful yellow stuff they squeeze out... everyone I spoke to says it would put them off smoking!

It won’t stop people smoking! My mum smokes, I wish she would stop smoking. Even when my dad had his heart attack back in 1991, and had to stop smoking, she didn’t stop. A TV ad won’t stop the addictions. Mum tried the patches, chewing gum etc, but didn’t work.
If you’ve been smoking for a couple years, MAYBE it will, but not when you’ve been smoking for nearly 40. My mum started smoking when she was a teen, because she lost her mum. I wish she would stop, but it’s not going to happen.
But, you’d get that fatty stuff in your veins eating fatty foods day in day out for years. Wouldn’t stop people eating.
