if they celebrate 25 years in 2004....
how come they celebrated 10 years with Instant Hits in 1989.... and 20 years with the DIGIPACK-version of the first album in what I believe was 2000...or am I wrong??? was it 1999??
Well what ever.. something is rotten in the state of Denmark.... or maybe there is an explanation?

Someone needs to take off their shoes and socks so they can count to 20

Well, I was born in 1978 and turned 25 this year, so I guess someone needs additional 5 toes or finger to count... (((o;

@ Judith: actually, the first album was from 1980. ;)
Which indeed makes it right, to have the album “Gyllene Tider 20 År” in 2000, since that was to celebrate 20 years over the release of the original “Gyllene Tider”. ;)
My theory?... Well, although Gyllene Tider’s actual first record, the Billy EP, was out in 1978, the very first record they released as Gyllene Tider as being Per & MP & Anders & Micke Syd & Göran and under an actual record company, the single “Himmel No. 7 / Flickorna På TV2”, came out in 1979, so perhaps that’s why they celebrate Gyllene Tider’s 25th anniversary in 2004, instead of 2003, and as well why “Instant Hits”, from 1989, was a release celebrating the 10 years of Gyllene Tider?...
But then again... I’m only guessing and may be as right (wrong?) as anybody else... :P

ok the album was out in 80, and the single in 79 :P
So now we have all celebrations haha
80-2000 - 20th anniversary of GT album
79-89- 10 years of the 1st single - Instant Hits
79-2003 - 25 years, first release as GT as the band is now :P

Instant Hits was released as a ten year anniversary of the *group*, while the original album was released on it’s *own* 20 year anniversary. Two different things. :)

I think the ones to “blame on” are Thomas and Peter (Mills - www.gyllenetider.com) ;))
The Billy EP was released in 78 so the 25th would be this year.... but the 1st album was out in 79.. so the 10th was in 1989 and 25th in 2004.
so you choose ;)
