I live in Lebanon, maybe I am the only fan of Roxette here, others think they don’t exist anymore.... well, do u think it is worth it to order the DVD now?? I have read about all the faulty DVDs you’ve got......... if I get a faulty one would I be able to change it?? most of the DVDs sold have problems??
AND, do you know the price of the DVD in dollars?? CDON accepts dollars?? they ship to Asia (Lebanon)??? they accept Mastercard??
do you have to be a member to buy there?? how do I register if I can’t read swedish??
is there a better place for me to buy the DVD??
I know they are too many questions.....but try to help me......thanks.....from the only Rox/Per fan alive in Lebanon.......

CDON only ships inside the EU, which does not cover Europe at all.
@Pamela: regarding our previous communication, it seems that your Mastercard does not work for transactions over the Internet, most likely your bank doesn’t allow such withdrawals. You might still want to try www.skivhugget.com ’s new credit card processing system: previously they’ve always failed to charge my card with their old system but their new one works fine with my Visa card.

Skivhugget shipped the next day for me to Australia, both the new Per DVD and Roxette DVD.
darkblade said on November 30, 2003 14:31:
are you still having problems with the new Per DVDs? most of them are faulty??
skivhugget accepts exchange of faulty material??
Denstandigaresan said on November 30, 2003 15:04:
If they’re faulty, then exchanging it would be pointless, as you’re likely to get another faulty one in return. Most of the people I know who have it are not having problems. I personally think it’s because the disc is almost see through, some players are having trouble with it. As, the people who are having problems, in one place, then to say it’s now ok... then again, to say, it’s somewhere else on the DVD they’re having trouble with. Which suggests it’s a mixture of the DVD and the player.

Although I don’t yet have the DVD (it’s on its way here), I don’t think any playback problems can be due to the player. I mean, if a player plays all other DVDs with the symbol DVD video but the Per DVD, it’s definitely the disc that has problems. Since this seems to be a massive problem, as way too many people reported it so far, I have to assume that EMI wanted to save some money on production. If so, what’s next? Are we going to have photocopied booklets or what? There might be some players that probably handle the defect of the DVD somehow, but I’m sure it’s not written on the DVD which models it’s compatible with. As long as you only notice the problems that are described in the other thread here, there’s no point in returning it to the store, wherever you bought it.

who was able to get a Per’s DVD with no problems?? from where??
does it depend on the place u buy it from or it’s something by chance??
do they ship to Lebanon(asia)? they accept Mastercard?

@Denstandigaresan: the people you know that bought the DVD with no problems, from where did they buy it??
Denstandigaresan said on November 30, 2003 16:54:
CDON. I bought mine from CDON... but not had a chance to check it right the way through, as it’s my christmas present.
Denstandigaresan said on November 30, 2003 17:01:
pietROxette: It’s hardly massive! There are only a handful of complaints so far.
And if you hold up the disc it’s almost see thru. I would say the lazer is having trouble picking it up every now and again... IF it was the DVD alone, then why would the problems ALL be different? Wouldn’t it happen in the same place for everyone?
So far the problems have been freezing... then it plays fine. Then somewhere else on the DVD freezes, so I wouldn’t say it’s the DVD alone.
I have DVD’s my player won’t play properly... yet it plays PERFECT on the other player in the house.
If there is even a sight bit of paint missing on a cd, the player will freeze there... it’s because the lazer isn’t picking up info. So for the Per DVD to be as see thru as it is, the lazer is obviously having trouble.
I’m gonna beg my folks to let me play the disc, just to check mine.

do they accept exchanges of faulty material at Skivhugget??
do they speak in english if I send an e-mail to ask for info??

http://www.recordchoppers.com - Skivhugget in English.
Denstandigaresan said on November 30, 2003 20:44:
I played some of my DVD... plays perfect.
Played on mums player, again perfect.
Admittedly, I haven’t been able to watch it all, so might experience problems elsewhere. But so far, so good. Guess in 24 days i’ll see it all the way through.
Ally77 got hers from same place, and her discs are both ok. So, at least CDON seem to have a decent stock... if mine plays well throughout also that is!

a bit expensive 26€ ...
I suggest the following, I have tried the 3 of them ;)
Skivhugget.se 19.79 € + postage (mail to [email protected] to ask for rates). Deliver everywhere.
CDON (follow link front page) 19.95 € + 3.95€ postage for EU, they don’t deliver outside EU unfortunately.
shop.roxette.nl 23.95€ (-15% if you are a member) + postage (3€ NL/ 5€ EU / 6.50€ Rest Europe / 9€ rest world).

Everything that’s been said here is true!
I ordered the Per DVD from Skivhugget - shipping is SEK 69 for destinations outside of the EU, and the DVD price is 20% less if it’s being sent outside of Sweden (VAT refund?). The total on the DVD came to a little under USD 30 to ship to the USA.
They’re pretty fast - I ordered Mazarin from them and it was delivered in less than a week.
This last time around I did have problems using my MasterCard - my Visa worked right away. Since I have both, I didn’t contact them, but they do speak English if you need help.
Denstandigaresan said on November 29, 2003 20:15:
www.cdon.com is english.
They only ship to europe. The charges are in €’s.
They do take Mastercard.
