Nope, can’t help you with this, sorry!
Try the “bible” and have a look...it will take a time, but you maybe will have luck.

HDCD is possibly the way in which is was recorded to cd? possibly...maybe? I dunno.
Ferdan said on September 16, 2003 07:05:
HDCD is a new way of remastering CDs
The CD sounds normal in any standard CD player, but if you play it in a HDCD-capable player (newer DVD players are generally compatible) the CD plays with better sound quality, 20 bits sound quality... instead of the normal 16bits of common CDs.
It sounds richer in Dinamic range i think (differences of volume) and voice sounds a lot more natural...
but i dunno, never heard one.

so which record is officially released there?
nothing in the bible
Vixzter said on September 16, 2003 16:19:
Well if its been remastered then maybe its a brand new cd brought out after the bible ;)

HDCD means “high definition cd”. It´s a new technology for cds. The cds with this technology sound terribly good, but you need a HDCD player to enjoy of the real quality. KG Marie´s box has this technology :)
best always

How can there be better quality (HDCD) on the recording of a bootleg than the real release has?! Isn´t bootlegs normally cheap copies of the real CD´s or releases of unreleased songs? So are you really sure they are bootlegs Ted? How do you know?

From http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2557772827&category=1..., This HDCD of TBH in Hongkong seems to the same one I bought in mainland, Compared to $ 1 in Shanghai, the price in hongkong is much more expensive; but the Shipping and Handing Fee is really cheaper, $3.5. It costs at least $ 12 on http://www.dangdang.com, one of mainland online shops. I remember release in Taiwan is a box with double CDs, including TBH ad TPH.
I bought many Roxette international CDs from Hongkong in the past. Since only Hongkong has a HMV shop in China. It’s pity, Hongkong is supplying the same HDCD to mainland’s, even now it is much more convient to go to Hongkong, Shanghai resident need’t apply a passport, but I’m afraid that I could not buy some high-quality CDs like before, there are seldom Roxette items sold in Hongkong.

Just browse over Google and found this discussion board.
It happens that the one on eBay is me, 8T8T.
The TBH CD, and another Greatest Hits, are authentic. They are published by Jing Wen Beijing http://www.jingwen.com/cpxxzl/lkst.htm (simplified Chinese pages)
Those CDs are made in China, not Hong Kong.
HDCD is quite common in mainland China. Mostly it sounds better than normal CD.

I’ve bought the old Don’t Bore Us CD in HDCD format from 8T8T on eBay and I’m pretty satisfied with both the auction and the CD itself. It has a sort of digipack box and it really sounds great! If I remember well, Crash! Boom! Bang! was also released in that format. Do you maybe have one for sale?
ally77 said on February 13, 2004 18:42:
Yeah I got TBH & TPH from a seller in Hong Kong on this format.. they not bootlegs they are official but produced after TLFR was made.. so they are not going to be in it.. but the CD’s are great!
siggi27 said on February 13, 2004 20:37:
does anbody know, if there are any cd‘s in SACD quality from roxette etc.? one time i bought a single, there was a track in such quality. and it sounds perfect. of course you need a player, wich supports this format.
roxtexanet said on February 13, 2004 21:21:
@Siggi: Weird how it’s just one track sometimes, eh? Someone once posted that “Spegelboll” was an HDCD track, but I don’t know if anyone’s verified this by playing it in the special player...

HAHAHHA I thought I was the only one to call that book for “The Bible” :D
imazombieinthem... said on February 14, 2004 03:00:
Yep, Spegelboll is in HDCD on the Mazarin cd. Says so when playing the track.

GT’s CD Konstpaus is HDCD [High Deifinition Compatible Digital]
Mastered in 20 bit not 16 bit.
Look for the HDCD Logo.
Also If you have Windows Media Player 9, that can play them. Sound Quality is excelent.
I have a Chinese HAND CD which says it it is a 24 bit CD but when I play it in Windows MP 9.0 the logo doesn’t come up. So I’d be very Wary of buying these.

I’m a bit confused exactly what this HDCD means. You can buy a lot of CDs nowadays that are 96k/24-Bit Digitally Remastered - namely those older recordings that have been remastered and reissued. Like today, I bought “Here I Go Again: The Whitesnake Collection.” On the back of the album it states: “96k/24-bit high resolution mastered from the original master tapes.” The sound quality is amazing and sounds so much better than what the older recordings did. Is this like the same thing as this HDCD?
