Roxette's own record label ?

Doesnt roxette have the Power to make there own record company? what is roxette recordings all about ? Then they can finally release there past albums in the US (HAND RS TPH) , and all LIVE shows on offical DVD’s including RS tour that i cant believe they still have not released :-O ?
Or that long awaited Live album, like most groups have out there ?

I’d actually settle for the All Videos DVD here for the moment. And a live CD would be very cool. There’s some live tracks from the MTV Unplugged on the Raraties I got years ago. Be nice to get another dose.

Yes, they have their own label. But that doesn’t mean they have the power to distibute and promote their music worldwide. You need a strong partner for that matter. That’s EMI’s role.

EMI Music Canada has been saying they might be releasing it but they’ve been saying that for years so i’m assuming it wont happen. I think they’re waiting for EMI Music in the states to import copies from them but the American distributor doesn’t appear to be interested.

So, you should probably just import the DVD and view it on your computer’s DVD-ROM or on a PAL compatible DVD player.

Consult your DVD player’s manual to see if it’s PAL compatible. A few DVD players distributed in North America are PAL compatible. Some convert the signal into NTSC and some simply send the signal to PAL compatible televisions.

If your DVD player isn’t PAL compatible, you could purchase a PAL compatible DVD player that converts PAL into NTSC for under US$80. Look for the Apex brand at your local chain stores. I’ve got a AD1200 that works great.

DVD-Rom works for me

Works on my DVD-ROM as well. It also works on my brother’s laptop’s DVD-ROM and it worked on another brother’s old 98se OS machine.

I’s a shame the labels don’t at least import a few copies of the odd Region 0 Pal compilation for the fans. They could always sell it with a sticker stating that it can be played on computers equiped with DVD-Roms.
