In Japan that is...in a double A-side special release alongside “Anyone”... i personally think that maybe this song could have been a great second single after “Wish I Could Fly” but you know how Marie and Per are... they always tend to release songs they personally like even if those songs are not so popular among the fans..like “Anyone” was back then fallowed by “Stars”... it’s been like that a bit ever since...lol ..i don’t mind anyway...

Well I i love COY so i would have loved to have seen it as a single...remember that there are mixes unreleased of this one but it ended up being cancelled saddly...
Yet... WICF and Salvation (if this one has a bit more edge on the vocals Marie can sing that song a lot better in my opinion) ..two great ballads for singles absolutely...
And...”Pay the Price” as a single bringing back the traditional post 1994 Roxette sound also seen on songs like SDLHA from 1996...yeah but i am sure that it would face serious competition from 7207 has this one been recorded like PTP (like the demo as we all know) but....:(
But (LOL)...as time passes and considering all the FUZZ around “Stars” i find it really difficult to see Stars as a non-single today, the way the song had whether a bad or great impact on us all back then..i ended up loving it so it’s for me difficult not to say it had to be a single regardless the hate and love thing and its hit potential....

mmm... PTP is my fav UP-Tempo from HAND, but I think it has not the power of a HIT.
I think the whole thing about HAND is a mistake :(

Not a complete mistake! NO matter how bad an album can be it’s far from being a mistake! Per and Marie are too good to do such...
It should not have had songs that sound so different from one another and the production of certains songs should have been better
Eg: “Cooper” for me it could have the same production than “CBB” and then be even better than “Anyone” songs a la Burt Bach...(???)
And then “7207” should have been produced manting the same demo original sounding and instruments...
And ...”Stars” could never had another fate then the one it really had....being the most polemic single ever it could only have the sound it has so i am not going to say that it should have sound different....
Marie could have re-recorded her vocals on “Salvation” she can sing it a lot better
Then COY no way i would change this..I mean the reason why i love this is because of the sound and of the strong melody and the great vocals from Marie..that is why i listened to the song 10 times non stop in the day i first listeneed to the album it just knocked me out..yeahhhh

As for the comment above, Marie can sing “Salvation” better? Hmmm. That would be tough because I think it’s one of her best vocal performances ever. Listen to the ending. It’s beautiful. :)

I know The Rain it is not that Marie sings it bad but for a whole Marie had a strange things on her vocals for the hand album that i still don t get it i dont know it is as if her voice was crowling or trembling more than usual ... that is why i believe that Marie could do even better on Salvation... but this is only my opinion as u said and well opinions can change a lot u know
by the way i love ur nick ..the rain one of my absolute fav rox songs and 1981 the years when i was born..great!

I don’t understand the discussion about Marie’s Voice on HAND, because I think, it is one of Maries best vocal performances. WICF, Anyone, Salvation, COY,... especially at the ballads her voice is so powerful much more than on CBB and also better than on Room Service although I have to say that her live voice was in my eyes better on the RS Tour than on the CBB Tour.
