soundtrack to spun?

Anybody knows when the soundtrack will be released? will it include STUPID or not? if not, how the hell are we gonna get it?

It’s an independent movie, I doubt they release a soundtrack.

I think there will be a soundtrack released. At the site of VH1 this is said about it:
“Former Smashing Pumpkins leader Corgan is already a movie music vet courtesy of his instrumental work on the soundtrack to the 1999 supernatural thriller “Stigmata.” Corgan will give it another shot on the score to “Spun,” the debut feature from controversial music video director Jonas Akerlund (Prodigy, Madonna).
The low-budget black comedy stars actor/Phantom Planet drummer Jason Schwartzman and also features John Leguizamo, Blondie singer Debbie Harry, Mena Suvari and “Almost Famous” star Patrick Fugit. A release date for the “Spun” soundtrack has not been announced yet.”

Of course just coz Stupid is in the movie doesn’t mean it will be on the soundtrack.
It Will Take A Long Long Time was playing in Run Away Bride but it didn’t feature on the soundtrack.
(Probably coz they played about 3 secounds)
Was that a record company issue??? or just that if you just happend to blink you would have missed the track playing.

Wasn’t “It will take...” not included coz of “indefferences”, as Per said in the fanzine in 99? Hated the fact that it was only 3 seconds long! Hope it’s on the soundtrack, and hope it’s played for longer than 3 seconds!!!

I guess people were more interested in getting the new version of Stupid back then (as it has been released on TPH eventually) than in the soundtrack itself or the rest of the songs... ;-)

I wouldn’t have bought the soundtrack anyways, I already had the song. If Spun had a soundtrack I wouldn’t have bought that either.
I prefer Per’s version over the Roxette version of “Stupid.” The newer version was a little light. But that’s my opinion.

Hey there’s only little Marie’s Voice. The Lead Vocal was Per at that version sounds like his album but the difference in chorus.
