There’s also a cool website at www.donniedarko.com but you won’t understand too much if you haven’t seen the film. This homepage made me want to see the it, though.

I know it’s not an easy film to understand but I love it. Going to www.donniedarko.com will give you more clues. You should also read The Philosophy of Timetravel (a book apearing in the film), which you can read online or on the DVD.

It’s not a real book, it was invented for the film. It’s quite hard to understand the movie if you haven’t read the book. it’s not too long. not really a book but just a few pages
