Pet Shop Boys

does any of you listen to them?
Their newest album is such a shock, damn I want my synth groups to keep playing synths, not guitars. *angry* Maybe some people feel it’s limiting and not creative, but that’s the sound I like and expect from these bands.
I want old PSB back!!

Yeah, they are Good.
I especially Like “It’s a Sin” :-)
I haven’t heard their new stuff.

Did you listen to any Silent Circle or Savage or maybe Fancy. Fancy “Flames of Love” and Savage “Only You” are Very Good.

yeah, PSB rock!! We trying to do a cover of mope, but it’s really hard, plus our singer sucks.

I like all the songs on their Discography album. :)

cover of mope? what´s that?

i like them.
i like their disco-synth stuff but also love the rockier sound of their latest studio album.

love em love em love em.
the new albums are weird tho, the old stuff still takes me into another dimension :)

I like them so much! They were my favourite duo before Roxette. My favourite song is “Always on my mind”, but I also like new ones like “Home and dry”

Let’s Bring Back the PSB topic!

I LOVE their “Actually” album sooo much. It’s Hit after Hit after Hit. Quality 80’s Pop, with Catchy Melodies/Synths and Meaningful Lyrics for a change ......and what a Voice!!!. Great stuff.

I just bought the limited edition 3-disc set, “PopArt.”

I liked their Pop-Rock “Release” album very much.
The instrumentaion is very Relaxing, and almost all songs have great Melody Hooks, and there is still some Synth stuff, like on “Here” and on “Samurai”

My favorite song was “London”, but I sloa liked
“E-Mail”
“I get Along”
“Home and Dry”

Many Potential hits :)

But him talking about another guy was a bit too much for me, cuz I can’t relate to that, but that’s OK

I LLLLOOOOVVVEEE the Pet Shop Boys!! they are sssoooo ausome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSB ROX!!! :-DD

I love the Discography album. All the great hits in one. :)

great band! (or project - for that matter...)

Please and Actually.
Very was a disappointment.

I like their latter releases far more better than the stuff from the 80s. Bilingual was great and Releave...yummie!!
Also the forthcoming single “Flamboyant” from the GH album is fantastic!

Woah, I think PSB are GREAT!! I saw em live a coupla times too, great gigs, one on the “Nightlife” tour, and one for “Release”...the NL gig was very theatrical and the “Release” gig was like seeing Oasis!! Neil playing acoustic guitar, and them being like a REAL band!! It shows the PSB as real songwriters, musicians and performers...as opposed to just PERFORMERS, know what I mean??
Oh, after the “Nightlife” gig, I went to their aftershow party at Studio 54 with a friend, and we hung out with Chris Lowe!! Nice guy, but a bit strange...oh, I’m straight, no prob hanging with gay people. I know Neil is gay, is Chris?? Just curious...

Their music is as the new hits collection is called, “Pop Art”...I’d love to get a copy of the 3CD edition, but it is GONE!! All that’s left is the 2CD set, and it replaces “Discography”, sell “Discography” and buy “Pop Art”...

All their albums are of TOP QUALITY, classy pop art...but I love “Very”, “Behaviour”, and “Nightlife” the best...

Being I LOVE the Scissor Sisters, I read in the NME they are remixing the next PSB single!!! And I hear it is bloody amazing!!! I’m not shocked they collaborated, as PSB only works with gay/gay-friendly artists...I know they are working with Dead Or Alive too...very cool!!

and don´t forget their collabrorations with queen Kylie, Ab Fab and Patsy Kensit! :)

I’m listening to them right now. “I’ve got the brains, you’ve got the looks. Let’s make lots of money.” Nice lyrics :D

I’m not a big fan of PSB. But they do have some very good songs!

in 1989 they produced a nice Liza Minnelli album called Results. She covered Tanita Tikaram song and PSB‘s Rent & Tonight Is Forever.
