THE POP HITS sales?

I suppose TPH sales were more or less disappointment, right? Did it chart anywhere?? Sweden?
anyway last weekend I found it for 10 euros only (yes 10euros...) so I bought it because it was cheap.
If I´ll get TBH for the same price one day I´ll buy it, too.
Then I have all Rox albums except Rarities and Dance Passion.

THE BALLAD HITS / THE POP HITS

UK : #11 / #84
Germany : #10 / #22
Switzerland : #8 / #27

With The Look and Joyride being such hits over here, I really thought TPH would get higher than #84 in the UK. I believed Roxette could continue the success of TBH with TPH, which it could have done: Had EMI/Capitol/Whoever bothered with promotion.

def not enough promotion for TPH unlike TBH, which had alot.

THE BALLAD HITS / THE POP HITS

@ ChrisWilliams,
It’s not just a question of how many singles were successfull on each compilation.
The main difference is “The Ballad Hits” was released to coincide with Valentine’s Day and it did help the album to climb all the way to #11. Had it been released in November as in every other European countries it would never have peaked so high in UK. That’s exactly what happened with “The Pop Hits” : no extra event to help the CD selling and a miserable #84 peak...
