I am delighthed listening for the very first time the amazing concert in Moscow in 2001. It sounds great maybe even better than the one in Oberhausen in Germany in my opinion. Isn’t it nice the way Per complemenrs Pelle and Jonas calling them legendary and the ringo star of Roxette...i personally agree! The songs sound great, Marie sang amazingly as always...
Any personal remarks from you guys, especially those who had the wonderful chance to go there?
Ps: I find swet when Marie sings “I’ll met all of you” on Stars poiting at us all....it’s best moment in a gig when the singer inteacts with its adience live through its music! Go Marie!

The Moscow concert was uploaded to ROXBYTES by our member Kibkalo. http://www.roxbytes.com is the URL where you can download the whole concert.
To be honest, it was quite disappointing to see RoxService grabbing stuff from ROXBYTES and making them available on their site, without mentioning ROXBYTES. I mean, obviously ROXBYTES doesn’t own the rights to exclusively publish audience recordings or unreleased songs, but still, the collection we have is a result of a hard work put together by several enthusiastic fans. I doubt that if anyone sent us an e-mail asking us if he/she could link some of our material on his/her site we would say no. Also, I don’t think a little “Thanks for ROXBYTES” on the download page would crash the server.
I always thought RoxSevice was a brilliant site (I still think it is), but come on, what is the point in downloading something from one site and then uploading it to another (especially, without mentioning the original source)? There are so many rare items in the Roxette-world...
I believe the work of those people who took their time to go and record shows, trade or buy bootlegs, tape TV-shows, upload their collection, etc. should be respected by not grabbing somthing they’ve been working a lot on. Especially not by a site that’s of a very high standard, both in original content and design.
Sigh.

PietRoxette: You are totally right.
It is a small effort to ask the permission or to mention the source.
Roxbytes ROX!!.
BTW: Pietroxette: If you don’t mind: I have made a link to your website on my own website. Is that ok?

ahhhhh i do understand your concern about the illegal publishing of the concerts but......
could we just focus on the concert itself as i intended with this topic....not that you arent right to say cause you re right to blame roxservice but anyway ...let enjoy the music for a moment...

Lak is the one who made that recording. Truly the best among audience tapings in 2001 tour. Believe I’ve checked many :)
Credit him, not Pietro.
I haven’t been to Moscow show, but 2 days later to St-Petersburg one. I thought many Moscow people would comment here, but... It’s summer I guess ;)
Both Russian shows were great. At least there was no silly warm-up with stinky DJ in SPb. And better acoustic/lighting (which was broken in Moscow till the middle of the show?). Which details you need to know exactly?

I think the best moment of the show is when the audience scream after Marie says: “Good evening, Moskva!” =))
Must convince the show in Petersburg was a kick-ass one! It was really cool, wasn’t it? Without any DJ’s, yeah, Andrew? =))

Heh, there was a funny moment in SPB, when Marie wanted to say thanks to audience, she tried to remember how is it in Russian but forgot I guess... Then she looked on her hand, where it was written & cried SPASIBO :)

Huh, all 3 Moscow doods came alive :)
Well, you see they’ve attended both and liked SPb much more. If you need to know the details I think I’ve posted that here back in 2001.

Hm, I personally think Moscow had better sound, and we had a great rox-party before concert - a crowd of 30-40 fans went through a center of a city singing rox-songs...
In spb public on concert was better - they knew songs, etc...
