I think Rock influenced him a lot. But I think those Catchy Musical hooks come more from Abba. Maybe?
Has he ever talked about what music he listened to while growing up? Which bands?

I though his favs were Beatles, Kinks, Small Faces and so on. I love that kind of music, actually, and I got to know it thanks to what Roxette and Oasis said in their interviews :D

About the catchy melodies... I think it’s a quality from swedish people... it’s amazing how swedish bands have the talent to add catchy melodies to their music. Amazing.
