Roxette songs have been covered by some other bands and/or singers, right?
Well, got two questions for you:
1. If Roxette could make a cover outta any song, what song would it be?
2. If any artist could cover one of Rox’s songs, which one would it be and what artist?
My answers:
Roxette should make a cover out of Evanescence’s “Going under”. The song has it all: Marie’s kicking voice, Per’s background vocals & guitar solo, Jonas Issacson’s guitar, Anders’ bass, Pelle Siren’s third guitar, Vicki Benckert in background vocals and Pelle Alsing in drums. Of course, Clarence is on keyboards and programming. It’s an instant hit. Listen to the song, you’ll know what I mean.
Sheryl Crow singing “Harleys & Indians”.
Wow. I love the idea.
Clues anyone?

I Agree anything could happen. Remember Rap Artist Petrus sings Listen To Your Heart and another boyband (I don’t remember the name) sings It Must Have Been Love?? That wasn’t an a tribute album.

Also, I could actually imagine Sheryl Crow doing “Harley & Indians” herself. It has her style.
As for covers, how about just having “Help! (Abbey Road Acoustic Version)” as an actual good quality release on CD? I would be happy with that.
