Where to stay in Barcelona?

Hello everyone out there!
I’m going on holiday to barcelona from the 3rd of august until the 11th of august, with my girlfriend.
We already booked a plane. But we still don’t know a cheap, clean place to stay. Any spanish fan who has a free room for a night, or people who know places to stay in barca???? Please let me know on [email protected]

I went there recently and stayed in a cheap hotel called santa marta which is near the port at the bottom of the ramblas. Look on a website called room-service.co.uk ( how apparent) it is listed there. Barcelona is the most beautiful city ever and you will have a fantastic time.

It’s a great location at the top of Las Ramblas and clean and inexpensive! And the owners are really nice too! Try to book early though!!

There are other hostels. In the centre, near Via Layetana you can find “Gothic Point”, which is cheap.

I don’t really know any cheap place to stay there, the youth hostel in BCN is up on a hill, very bad communicated and not THAT great...
but still, check out www.barcelona.com or www.bcn.es (same) the site is in English too and has some info about accomodation..
