Buying tickets for the Stockholm concert '03
pietROxette said on June 23, 2003 08:26:
Hi,
does anyone know how to buy the tickets for the Stockholm cocnert from outside Sweden? I went on to ticnet.se, created an account there but when I wanted to buy the tickets, I got the information that tickets to this event cannot be purchased online, I have to call a number to order the tickets. However, that number doesn’t really seem to exist, or at least it’s busy all the time. Can anyone suggest an alternative method to get the tickets? (Preferrably not by travelling there and back :-))
pietROxette said on June 23, 2003 08:46:
BTW if you manage to get the tickets via phone, are they going to post it or you have to pick them up yourself?
Starrox said on June 23, 2003 09:06:
Whichever you want! You have to pay an additional fee of 150 SEK to have the tickets send to you, though... but that’s still cheaper than traveling to Sweden just to pick them up ;-)
pietROxette said on June 23, 2003 09:14:
Sounds fine, thanks for the info.
Now they only need to pick up that damn phone...
Rich-UK said on June 23, 2003 10:18:
They picked up the phone for me but there was a message and I didn’t understand it - I pressed some numbers but gave up after a few minutes - do you know what I need to do when I hear the message? - thanks, Rich-UK
Starrox said on June 23, 2003 10:57:
Basically you don’t need to do anything but wait and listen to that voice telling you about the possibility to buy tickets on their homepage... someone will get you out of that waiting line eventually!
Rich-UK said on June 23, 2003 11:17:
Thanks! - I was on my mobile phone for so long I think the call cost more than the tickets! - unfortuantely I got cut off near the end of the conversation - I was told to pay the money to account number “4592650/8” with switch “SISESS” to the address “Postierot, Sweden, 10506 Stockholm, Biljett Direkt” - I have two questions to anyone who has arranged to buy tickets this morning: (1) are these details all correct?, and (2) is there anything else I need to know in order for me to make the payment to them at my bank? - many thanks, Rich-UK
pietROxette said on June 23, 2003 11:34:
I got the following data:
IBAN: 4592650-8
SWIFT CODE: PGSISESS
ADDRESSEE: BiljettDirekt Ticnet
P.O.Box. 450
57325 Tranas
You also need to give your order ID when transferring the money. You should send them the money in 3 days.
Rich-UK said on June 23, 2003 11:41:
Hi PietROxette - thanks for the information! - the addresses are very different, is this something I should be worried about do you think? - I could call them again... but I spent £14 (20 Euros) on the phone call so I would rather not!!!!! - best wishes, Rich-UK
pietROxette said on June 23, 2003 11:46:
I don’t think you need to call them again. They - according to their website - have agencies in multiple cities in Sweden. Most likely incoming calls for their central phone number are diverted to different agencies. My call was diverted to the one in Tranas, yours was diverted to their Stockholm agency.
But make sure you have your unique order ID. If you were cut off before they mentioned that, you need to call them again.

I got another bank account... did someone get the same info and can tell me if I got everything right?
IBAN: 5291/1006135
SWIFT-Code: ESSESESS

anyone can help me please!!!
Kiwein1 said on June 23, 2003 12:58:
@xarrr: Yeah, I think you have to pay for them in cash when you pick ’em up.
@wonderfulballoon: You only have to pay cash when you pick the tickets up. You don’t have to when they send them to you.
xarrrr said on June 23, 2003 14:10:
aah pheeew!!!
i thought i was gonna have a problem with losing my tickets, but i just phoned them and they said i can pick them up on Thursday at the latest.... and i arrive in Sweden on thursday morning! pheeew!!!
*breathes a BIIIIIIG sigh of relief!!!*

It took me 40 minutes (and I don’t know how many tries) to get the tape saying you had to wait.
Then I ordered and the girl told me to transfer the SEK445 to “4592650-8”, with name of “BiljettDirekt Ticnet” and my OWN address under it so they could send it there?
Has anyone ordered like this before? If yes: can you confirm what to mention and what not?
Thanks!
Rich-UK said on June 24, 2003 07:09:
@ Remco - I can’t see how you have enough information to transfer the money - if you are going to use Swift then you will need their account number (which you have), their Swift code and their address - maybe you’re going to transfer the money some other way though? - best wishes, Rich-UK
Titus said on June 24, 2003 12:31:
@ starrox: i got the same bank account like you. first Ihad the other number but I called again, because my local bank had problems with transferring the money to a postgirot-account, and then they gave me the same account which you have. And I think it‘s:ESSESESS, not with I !
But my problem is, that I am not sure if the money arrives within three days. Sometimes it even takes about two or three days for a moneytransfer inside Germany....so I am a bit worried. :-(
richkoni said on June 24, 2003 14:19:
i have tickets!!
i made a friend of mine in sweden buy them...
i am sooooo happy!!
Remco said on June 24, 2003 17:04:
I checked again regarding the address by calling ticnet. Indeed they now gave me the address in Tranas.
How is in in other countries to transfer this amount to Sweden? Here in Holland it seems to be so difficult it looks like I’m not gonna make it in time!
Any tips from Dutch who are having the same problem? At least Postbank and ABN-AMRO told me they could’t do it for me, I am with Postbank and I have to request for special International Money tranfers cards!?!?!?!?!!!! (which will take up to 5 days!). HELP !!!
pietROxette said on June 24, 2003 17:11:
My bank is a member of the ABN-AMRO group. They had no problems transferring the money to the Postgirot account (at least that’s what they told me). However, an international trasfer takes up to 4-5 days to complete. This is why I’ve called ticnet again today (with much more luck than before). They’ve said no problem, because you only need to start the transfer in 3 days, since then they will see that you have started it, although they won’t be able to cash the money for 4-5 days, but your order is fine anyway.
[Edited a typo.]
Remco said on June 24, 2003 22:22:
Thanks Pietro for your reaction. I’ll go to ABN-AMRO tomorrow to open an account and transfer the money. I saw on their website that they can indeed do that if you do have an account.

ticket? ;-) ***
ktoto said on June 26, 2003 16:42:
Hi, does anybody know what are the hours they pick up the phone?
when did you called?
If i book two gigs, would i have to pay only once the 150 SEK?
And finally, do you know if when they say you have to pay in three days they don’t count saturday and sunday?
Rich-UK said on June 26, 2003 16:54:
Hi ktoto - 150 SEK is the postage fee and you only have to pay it once if you buy two tickets at the same time, this is exactly what happened to me - I’m sure that they don’t include Saturday and Sunday in the three days by which you must pay - I was told by my bank one day after my phone call that the quickest they could transfer the money was 2 or 3 days - so I e-mailed Ticnet to confirm that the transaction had been authorised - good luck, Rich-UK
ktoto said on June 27, 2003 14:36:
Today i bought the tickets, at 13:55 the phone call finished, so i had to run to the bank because they closed at 14:00... anyway, i hope everything was right, but i had some bad experiences/problems:
1.You have to pay in three days, that means that they also count saturday and sunday, so there is only the possibility of paying on friday or monday if you call on friday.
2.I thought the only way to pay was with a transfer, but the girl i talked to told me firstly only about the postal way, but i asked if i could do it through a bank transfer because that was the option i had only think of before. Big mistake, i don’t know how much you had to pay for the transfer, but for me it was 24 euros!!!!! and with a giro it would have cost 7.50 euros more or less :( . Did you know there is this possibility? how much comission you had to pay for the transfer?
Rich-UK said on June 27, 2003 14:49:
I paid £19 for the bank transfer, 60 SEK for the Swedish bank charge and £13.74 on phone calls... making over 50 Euros! - I figured that at least I will have the tickets, my flights were really cheap and I will stay in cheap Youth Hostels - it was a very stressful experience but the reward will be great! - best wishes, Rich-UK
ktoto said on June 27, 2003 15:51:
were you told about paying via post? maybe because of my bad english i didn’t understand well LOL
ktoto said on June 29, 2003 11:43:
Hej again! do you get any notification from ticnet when they get your money and they send you the tickets?
Remco said on June 29, 2003 13:13:
How would they be able to contact you? At least they don’t have my e-mail address, and sending a letter would be a little double don’t you think?
But it would definetely be nice, since nothings has been debited from my bank account yet (after 4 days...)!
ktoto said on June 29, 2003 18:57:
they have got my telephone number (they asked it to me), and the money from my acount was debited at the moment...
Remco said on June 30, 2003 00:50:
Lucky you ;-) !!! For the first time in my life I wish money was already taken off my account...
ktoto said on June 30, 2003 18:38:
hmmmm i don’t think ticnet got the money right in the moment... i think it was sent to them, but it must be still floating somewhere on the banks’ system doing its way to ticnet :P
Anyway, peaple who have already made the payment, how did you realize everything was going fine? because your money was debited some days after? i guess that thing doesn’t work for me...
Mari said on June 30, 2003 20:56:
Remco, money from my account leave immediatly. I paid at my home with my computer.
Remco said on June 30, 2003 22:59:
Thanks all for your help and concern!
Tomorrow I am going to call the bank and ticnet again to see what the status of the payment is. What I mentioned earlier: Everything can be booked and paid over the internet, why not just a simple €32.50 concert ticket??? ;-)
Greetz!
pietROxette said on July 1, 2003 10:58:
I went to the bank on Monday, last week, but since it was late, they started the transfer process on Tuesday. They said it’d take 4-5 days for the money to get there. However, Tincet told me that they could see if the transaction had started and they would send the tickets then.
spyboo said on July 1, 2003 12:30:
mmm, i paid for my tickets last thursday, the lady at the bank said it could take up to 3 days, but normally it goes faster, so i think 2 hours later i checked my bankaccount and the money had left to sweden. But then i kinda got worried because i’ve found out my mom(who so kinda phone/booked the tickets for me) got the swift-code wrong, so yesterday in kinda a state of panic, i email ticnet support, and wohoo, they got the money and will send out the tickets today. >=)
Remco said on July 1, 2003 23:00:
Hurray! The money has been taken of my account on the 30th (gave the order at the 25th)! Hope to see my ticket soon, keeping my fingers crossed!
See you all in Stockholm!
Rich-UK said on July 2, 2003 08:07:
I paid Ticnet via Swift bank transfer last Tuesday and got my tickets yesterday, 6 days total - I can’t wait! - best wishes, Rich-UK

Rich-UK said on July 2, 2003 11:53:
@xarrrr... I’m going to Malmö and Göteborg - anyone else going there who wants to meet up before the concerts? - all the best, Rich-UK

Does anybody know how many tickets are available for the Stockholm concert? Is Sjohistoriska Museet comparable to the size of Tradgardsforeningen or is it larger? How many people were there at Marie’s Antligen tour?
Joyride007 said on July 7, 2003 18:08:
Hej, don’t anyone the ticket (to concert in Halmstad) to sell??? Please!!!!!!!!!! I need it! I am from the Czech Republic and 29th July I will just in Halmstad!
michi1506 said on July 7, 2003 20:08:
Help!
I found a guy in Sweden now who offered me that I can order the tickets using his name and address.
He offered to send me the tickets to
Germany.
So I thought, now I can order online and pay by credit card and get the tickets send to his address.
But I didn’t make it.
If I got it right he now has to pick up the tickets at an office close to his place.
He is nobody I know that well. Isn’t it possible to do it any other way?
ktoto said on July 8, 2003 10:27:
hej!! i’ve just received my tickets (göteborg and stockholm), i’m really happy!! now i just have to wait for my mazarin to come one of this days, cause i haven’t listen to it yet!

hilarious. I just thought for about three minutes that people actually bought tickets for the GT tour ON THURSDAY (it’s 00:48 Friday morning, Toronto time, so the sale isn’t supposed to start before in about 2:15 hrs)....before I realized this is from 2003....
cheers!

Sorry for confusing you! I happened to find this thread through Google when I was trying to find out if the address I had was the one of the bank or Ticnet...

Hey Pietro,
unfortunatley the only way to get tickets from outside sweden
is to call ticnet.se under the following numer (0)771-707070
don´t forget the number for sweden in front of this
the line is nearly always blocked,
but when you try and try and try
you will come trough....
good luck
