Nothing to be proud of on June 28th since it’s the b-day of a person I hate... but... as for the symbolicness of it... though I am not gay, I am proud for the people that can stand up about it against the mindless, ignorate people in this world. :) Have a good one that day!
Santi said on June 19, 2003 10:54:
My birthday is the 26th of June. I guess next year the parade will be on my birthday :D
I’m not gay, but I have some friends who are. It’s good not to feel opressed! :p
roxtexanet said on June 19, 2003 22:08:
Extra good Pride day this year... same-sex marriage is now legal in Canada (well, in 9 of our 10 provinces anyway...)!
derek said on June 19, 2003 22:16:

everybody has a right to be what they want to be. so be proud of who you are and if some people cant understand that f**k them
Santi said on June 20, 2003 12:28:
I’m curious to know which province in Canada is different from the rest in that :P
lvninabx said on June 20, 2003 15:03:
I am certainly very happy to be gay, and I think we should make as much noise as possible until the goverment recognises us, and treats us the same as mixed couples
derek said on June 20, 2003 21:51:
@theedge .thanks thanks. @ivninabx good for you *live and let live*
Shane said on June 20, 2003 21:54:
Santi - Alberta is the province that has decided not to uphold the federal ruling in favour of same-sex marriages. Strange, as Alberta is quite advanced in recognizing same sex couples - shared benefits, collecting on pensions, etc.
If interested, here is an article on the topic:

:D
Actually I went to a sushi bar with my friends today which is located in our gay street named Davie St. Anyways, they had the June 28th celebration flags all over the place. I am not gay but cool! I never get to celebrate being straight :O!
Stormkeeper said on June 22, 2003 13:37:
hehe I made a gender test another day and they said Im a woman and “nature´s mistake” hehe :D
Anarem said on June 22, 2003 16:27:
According to the test, I am 61% Gay? That surprises the heck out of me. I always thought I was more of a gay boy than a stereotypical lesbian... (nope... no mullet or flannel shirts yet...)
@Damineh: you get to celebrate being straight *everyday*. So count yourself fortunate.
Anarem said on June 22, 2003 16:36:
It’s funny how Canada will only be the 3rd country in the world (after Holland and Belgium) to officially recognize same-sex marriages– you’d think that Sweden or the other Scandinavian countries would have done it a few years ago!
Stormkeeper said on June 22, 2003 18:59:
Anarem: all 5 Scandinavian countries recognize same-sex relationships but they´re not called “marriages”. I dunno how to call it in English...
DaminehGessle said on June 22, 2003 19:46:
Marriage is different I guess :)
I am 32% gay. Just as gay as one should be.
Anarem said on June 22, 2003 19:57:
@Storm: yes, I think they’re called civil unions or something or other. I know they already have them in Québec.
Agghh said on June 23, 2003 14:11:
Yeah, i’m sooo proud, and 57% gay. Actually that’s OK, because i’m bisexual!
sparroweye said on June 23, 2003 15:21:
according to this test I’m gayer then the average of my gender...
hihi
LaMan said on June 25, 2003 09:21:
and now question: is Ricky Martin gay? He was asked and didn´t dispute... didn´t admit... hmmm
theedge said on June 25, 2003 09:33:
I´n not sure, he looks like the “tipical” one, but if he says no, let´s believe him. Anyway I´m not agree with making outing. Outing only should be in cases of gay politicians who votes agains pro-gay laws. A teologist said recently that Jesus was gay... don´t know :P
coyboyusa said on June 25, 2003 11:22:
if ricki martin is agy he must coem to my house with enrique iglesias and have a wet t-shirt party :)
ally77 said on June 25, 2003 17:40:
Okay I am 54% gay.... intresting....
Really enjoyed the gay pride event in Stockholm few years back as Marie performed..... I was on holiday at the time and it was excellent!!
theedge said on June 27, 2003 07:53:
No, not all of them, but some yes. Anyway, straight roxers don´t be offended if someone asks you if you are gay, ok?
A hug for all!!!!!!
Stormkeeper said on June 28, 2003 10:36:
It´s June the 28th!! Time to be PROUD!! :)

Stormkeeper said on June 18, 2003 09:33:
