Will marie's new album be english or swedish ?

i really do hope it will be in english , i really liked them demos, and being from england them lyrics were really good to, she should have enough confidence by now after all them positive things about them demos. do hope full bad moon is on it. i wouldnt even mind a mix.

But Marie said a long time ago for her it’s easier to write and perform songs in Swedish. In my opinion you can see and hear it. With Roxette she more different than as a solo singer.

Bi-lingual... not a bad idea at all....
just think of an album with both Swedish songs (e.g. Månljus) and English stuff (new world, bad moon, etc.)
Makes me think of Enrique Iglesias... Experiencia religiosa - Mystical Experience, Mas es amar - Sad Eyes, Escape - Escapar.... and some bilingual versions of songs on single, together with a video produced by e.g. Colin Nutley or Vaughan Amell who also did Feel for Robbie last year

I would love, love, love an english album. Marie’s swedish albums are great but I only know a few Swedish words, so I kind of have to hum along to most of the songs...sing a line, hum a line, sing a line, hum a few more lines....
However, I am just happy Marie is recovering and getting back to her music - I will love the new album - whether it is in English or Swedish.

I think it will be in Swedish, because I think after her illness she wrote and writes a lot of emotional songs to ponder over her feelings. And I think it’s easier for her to do it in her native language.

I know that Marie has been wanting to do a English Jazz album for many years and I support her whole heartedly to do it, since that demos (bad moon, new world, Remember etc...) was DAMN AMAZING songs and it feels like her Swedish songs BUT I feel her Swedish lyrix and solo albums is always 100%=MARIE FREDRIKSSON, its sooooo HER and that’s what I looooooooove the most, her Swedish lyrix and music!!!!! I feel that I can understand her better through her solo Swedish material!!! Although don’t get me wrong, her English writting is also out of this world and she should be writting MUCH MORE for Roxette!!!!! I think she’s a BRILLIANT writter in what depends Swedish lyrix and music and English lyrix and music, but I think she feels “SAFER” writting in her mother language and feels she can express herselve better that way!
Ofcourse we don’t see it that way, English OR Swedish, she’s FANTASTIC in both!!!!!! I just feel sooooo overwhelmed and PROUD of her no matter what language she writes in, she is THE BEST!!!!

because after her illness roxette-friendly-radiostations will play her new single (if it was in english) with 98%.

I hope it will be in Swedish. I think Marie can express herself better in her native language (as all people). For Roxette it doesn’t matter so much, but as her solo stuff is very lyric oriented it’s important to do that in her own language.
By the way, please not a bi langual album! It wouldn’t sound as a whole, but as a bunch of tracks thrown on one CD.

I hope, and am confident, she’ll stick to Swedish. There would be no point in her recording in English as Roxette already do this. If she were to record in English, it might seem that she’s trying to cash in on Roxette - Something I’m sure she’d never even think about doing. She’s got more class than that :-)

Having said that, she was overwhelmed at how many international fans came to the Äntligen concerts... So perhaps she might feel the non-Swedish fans deserve something of her solo work, in a language they fluently understand :-)

It will be great to have an english solo album by Marie. But let’s be objective, we know from her that she expresses better in her language, in a more intimate and pasional way. And after all that happened wether she wants or not some of these feelings will be printed in the lyrics, i mean unconsciusly. So it might just be a little more easy to do it in swedish.
But now after reading what Ms. Dimberg said of being to early to decide in between the two languages, there are a mixture of both in the new songs, don’t know what expect.
Let’s wait, in english or in swedish it’s going to be superb either way.
