Have you guys seen the new VW Golf ad?
Featuring a guy and girl making out on a couch, girl wants to go down on guy, gets upset when she unbuttons his jeans, guy gets upset, gets in his golf, speeds off races through town, goes back to the apartment, girl is still on the couch, guy looks down at his crotch, looks up at girl, she smiles, and it ends.
Apparently it was directed by Mr Akerlund himself... shine some light...

My dad bought the 50th Anniversary Jetta, VR6 GLI all sorta things it looks incredibly astounding, a piece of art. I’ve seen the Golf ad but gotta see it with my own two eyes.

Damineh, yep, the Jetta is cool too. The Golf is OK, the new Beetle is cute, espesh the new convertible, but will the Schirocco/Corrado will be brought back here?? As for the Bora, which US car is that?? The Passat by chance?? That car is SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTT, awesome pickup!!!! Awesome soundsystem too!!

Ash, what I meant by pickup was the horsepower in his turbocharged engine, it’s pickup, sorry, American terminology I guess..no the Passat is not a truck, it’s a lovely car. A bit like an Audi, which is made by the same company as VWs and Porsches, same engine as in the A4.
And Ash, here’s the rundown on the countries and which side the wheel is on: mainland Europe, North America, Central + South America, mainland Asia, all on the LEFT side, drive on the right side of the road. In the UK, Australasia, Africa, Japan, Hong Kong, China (I think): all on the RIGHT side, drive on the left side of the road.
Sooo the Bora is the Jetta?? I like the name Bora more than Jetta, more exotic and European...shoulda kept it the same here. Jettas are great too, all are solid cars!! LOVE the sound when you slam the doors shut, so solid, LOL!!
Damineh, a VR6 GLI 50th Anniversary???? Never saw any here in New York. I wonder if it’s a Canada-only model?? What colour is it, black?? I’m sure it is sweeeeeet.... ;-)

the notchback version of the first and second golf was called jetta (2).
the notchback version of the golf 3 is called vento.
the notchback version of the golf 4 is called bora (plus a wagon version of the bora, so it became a little “higher” than the golf)

Aschrum because the 50th anniversary Jetta is way more powerful than the Jettas out there and more luxurious and you pay a much higher price for it. That’s why it’s not called anything else! There were also a limited amount of them produced.

Here, the Jettas always had trunks, the Golfs were always hatchbacks. VW changed its name from the Rabbit to the Golf in the 90s. Yes, they recently came out with a wagon version of the Jetta, along with one of the Passat. The Jetta wagon looks like a small tiny Jeep, LOL!!

Yes, about the pedals, when you drive a stick, there are 3 pedals: the gas, the brake and the clutch. I’ve never driven a stick either, but I really want to learn and get good at it; I hear it’s like riding a bike, once you get the hang of it, you’re good for life, and most people who know how to drive a stick never go back to an automatic. These people love being in control.
Limited edition?? No wonder I’ve never seen one of those models on the road!! ;-)

every normal (not wagon) golf is a hatchback
i.e. there is a notchback version of the astra too, but not with another name.
so the normal version (hatchback) is called fünftürer (fivedoors or so) and the notchback is called viertürer (fourdoors or so).

Yes, the trunk is the space in every car to put your bags, luggage, shopping stuff, yes, and in many cars, the rear seat folds down to increase this space. Yes, based on your + my info, the regular 4-door VW Passat is a notchback. WOW, I’m going to call those cars notchbacks from now on, thanks!! It will freak people out here, hehe!!

some cars ROCKT :D
but one polo 6n (w/o facelift) had a “facelift” only a few meters until he arrived at the meeting.
the buffer-bar in the front had a “plastic operation” :(
there were 3 or 4 polo 2 (w/o facelift again) that looked AMAZING :D
btw: tuning of a polo 2 u dont see often here cuz... so u have to search hardly to find parts for it (for a polo 2f u wuld finde MASSES of parts
