Vinyl, 8 track and any funky stuff!

Hey! just curious who out there still has any vinyl and 8 track. I do! LOL! My folks got Divorced and wound up with all the vinyl, which, I must say, I have some cool stuff! Well cool to me because I grew up on all of those records.
A lot of them are 12” singles of things like Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach” which is like the 11 minute version (or something like that) of the song.
I’d have to put a list together sometime but that would take a while... Honorable Mentions would be:
-The full Love Story movie on Vinyl
-Lynard Skynard - (Dunno which one but dad is usually beging me not to sell it so I assume it’s worth something)
A Gold 45 of “We’re An American Band” by Grand Funk Rail Road.
I do have 8 tracks and a working player/recorder which I have Santana , Elton John and Diana Ross and they still work!
We’ve definately come a long way!

I have only started collecting my own vinyls in the past few weeks. Dunno why but I love listening to them in the evenings. I have:
12”&7”joyride single,
7” IMHBL,
12”the look head-drum,
12”madonna american life,
12”room5 make luv,
7”beach boys good virations and
7” bobby picket monster mash!
lol, I am very proud of my beach boys and monster mash ones as they were £1originals from a antiques shop!!! My dad has literally hundreds behind the sofa, but Ive never managed to get through them all!!!
