(not only Roxette ones). For me:
1.Nothing compares 2 u. (Sidnead O’Connor)
2.Tears in heaven. (Eric Clapton)
3.Never is a long time (Roxette)
4.Sand and Water (Beth Nielson Chapman)
5.Sorry seems to be the hardest word (Elton John)
6.To make you feel my love (Garth Brooks version)
and lots of more. (I can’t write them down for lack of time!!!)

Hej
@ Madjy - I totally agree with you... the line “Lately you’ve been painting my world blue” is so sad. To me it’s the most sad line ever !! So full of emotion, I love it !!
Actually, “A Thing About You” is a very sad song... take a second and analise it... simple lines like “The tv is on but the colours are gone”, sounds very deep... like the guy that lost his pleasure in life. Or “And I’ll never stop believing”, when even the girl do not like him, he still believing (and there’s nothing more classic about love than faith). This song is just PERfect !! :)
All the best

I guess it’s sad on some level, but not as sad as “I Saved The World Today.”

-Me (yea Me as in Me not a band called me ;)) - Teach Me
Can’t find all the lyrics and don’t wanna type them all out but my song goes something like “Teach me how to love you. Tell me what to do. If I do something wrong would I have to live without you?”

For those who love sad songs, I strongly recommed “Sand & Water” performed by Beth Nielson Chapman. She wrote this song after her husband’s death. I first heard this song on “Charmed” and downloaded it from the net as I didn’t know this singer. Now I listen to it at least once in a day.

“I won’t walk away” From Jewel :....(
I really can’t stand Jewel but I like that song.
Remember the band Alias - More Than Words Can Say?
“I need you now... more than words can say...” *sobs* Was on the radio a little while ago. *sniff* ;)

ATAY was very sad song, I heard that first time only by it’s 30 sec on the internet, and I could hear “Lately you’ve been painting my wotrld blue”. I almost cried when I heard that, especially at the same day I red the news about Marie faint in her bath room... so, it was a sad moment for me. still like the “line” though. it’ sad but my fav.

Kachina008. I can‘t remember the episode because it was from the very beginning. The lyrics of this song are:
“All alone I, didn’t like the feeling,
All alone I, sat and cried,
All alone I, had to find some meaning,
in the center of the pain I felt inside...
All alone I, came into this word,
All alone I will, someday die,
Solid stone is just, sand and water baby,
sand and water, and a million years gone by...
I will see you in the light of a thousand suns,
I will hear you in the sound of the waves,
I will know you, when I come as we all,
will come through the doors beyond the grave...
All alone I, heal this heart of sorrow,
All alone I, raise this child
flesh and bone he’s just, bursting towards tomorrow,
and his laughter, fills my world, and wears your smile...
I will see you in the light of a thousand suns...........
etc...
She wrote this song after her husband’s death. It’s really sad and the music is perfect...
Listen to it.
