I MET PER 20 MINUTES AGO!!!!!

I was in the CD shop of NK ( A posh shopping center in Stockholm) and I asked a guy who worked there, if I can get a TPH poster.
He said yes, and gave me a poster, and when I wanted to leave he told me to wait a while, then I discoved too, that Per and Åsa was there and wanted to pay for something .
He asked Per if he can sign the poster , he answered “No problem” and signed it for me.
It was a really great surprise! :)

That’s cool. I met Per 3 times, and Marie twice. The first time I met Per, it was in 1990 and he was hanging out in this Sam Goody next door to where I worked at the time, in NYC. I recognized him right away and we just hung out and talked during my lunch break for a half-hour or so. Cool guy, very laid back, approachable, and VERY tall, like 6”3’, 6”4’, just like powerpop masters Todd Rundgren and the McDonald brothers, Steve + jeff, from Redd Kross. And no, he didn’t say anything about a goldfish, LOL!! Then again, I get along very well with powerpop people, just their nature I guess...Marie was nice too, but I didn’t talk to her much as it was during instore signings, but she seemed nice then, and I know she is very sweet.

i was at MIX in Stinsen,Sollentuna today.... they had a lot of Pop hits posters up in there window.... and in the stor they has many pop hits at a good place so you see it fast and they still had TBH posters up....

I went to Gallerian, an other shopping center ,5 minutes walk from NK.
You can use internet for free at the Metro counter.

I am not a fan but I like their music.I prefer G.T.
I usually don´t collect anything on them.This is the first Roxette poster on my wall.
I was joking when I asked the shop assistent to give me that poster... :) (I was there to buy an opera called Prince Igor, but they didn´t have it.)
But he gave me the poster anyway. Then Per arrived...
It was funny.
Sometimes I read TDR so I wanted to share this funny story with persons who are interested.
My friends don´t like Roxette except one.

First of all, you don´t need to believe it. I don´t care what you believe.
And I joined TDR long ago, but I usually just read it, without writing anything, except in ” På svenska” ( Internationel.)
I didn´t say I don´t like Per ,but I am not a big fan.
That´s a difference.And the shop assistent asked Per to sign the poster not me.

But as I said you can believe what you want.

Jag har tyvärr aldrig sett Marie.
Men förra terminen hade jag en klasskamrat som jobbade som barnflicka hos en familj i Djursholm. En av barnen som hon tog hand om var klasskompis till Maries son och hon träffade Marie ofta när de hämtade eller lämnade barnen.
Hon sa att Marie var väldigt snäll.

And I know a guy who worked in a sushi bar near the polar studios, and he said that the whole band used to eat there 2-3 times a week when they worked on the Room service album. They were very nice and told him that they liked his sushi a lot , which made him very pride even he is not a fan.

Many years ago I won a meeting with Per and Marie... it was during the C!B!B! Tour and got Backstage Tickets and everything... it was just fantastic, Marie even introduced her family to me and everybody was so nice... that must have been my claim to faim. :-)
