"Little Miss Sorrow" = power ballad?

To me it shouldn’t be on The Pop Hits. I don’t know, maybe I am a little out of my mind, but isn’t “Little Miss Sorrow” a power ballad?
It is slow, sad lyrics, sad singing but with powerful chorus, with guitars...
Put it next to to songs like “Almost Unreal”, “Things Will Never Be The Same” or “Fading Like a Flower”. I could found some similarities...
Am I crazy?

yep!

no

yep!(am i crazy)

Far from being a power ballad ... if performed in a much slower way acoustically for example then it would be a ballad kind of thing...the original song is not a ballad no way... in fact this song for me reminds a lot of “She doesn’t live here anymore” at least in a certain extend!

I consider it as an uptempo song

it’s an uptempo/rock-song i think! just have a look at the chorus...that’s somehow pure rock! so where do you have the idea of LMS being a ballad?? *lol*

LMS a BALLAD!????????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA hhehe well sorry abt that but I cudn’t help it. A power ballad from ROX seems to be just a dream now

LMS is NOT a ballad. It starts out quite easy but even in the first verse you can feel somethings’ about to happen, kinda mysterious. Great song with a great dramatic end where the song comes to a climax. “WHAT’s GOING ON?” Per’s doing a great vocal job according to me.

definitely up tempo. anyway, there could be somebody who would call it mid-tempo. but not ballad absolutely

I think that our powerpop-expert Powerpoplarry is the expert on this forum to judge this! :)

NO

I don’t think it’s a ballad.

@Heart 2002: Of course you can make a ballad out of any song...

By the way... don’t you have an apology for Spanish speaking people yet??
