Who want's Marie S O L O English CD?

Reading about TWATG2, why can’t we dream of Marie solo in english?

I know it’s not the best time right now for her, but maybe in a couple of years, who knows?

So please people who would love to have a Marie solo english cd, raise yor voices.

IMO, the things we’ve heard from Marie in english, a couples of monthes ago, like the demos, they are much better than the latest Rox songs, aren’t they?

Nice idea. Bad moon is a nice song indeed - though I don’t really like the way it’s produced, a bit cliché-ridden, I am afraid. Still like her solo-stuff *much* more than the official Roxette-stuff. :-)

But I prefer ever Roxette, so if Marie get well and completly recovery then should she to keep Per and make a new Roxette-CD. But first if she is really fine again.

Seriously I’d love anything new from either Per or Marie or Roxette whatever but if I’d have to pick one it would be Marie.

No, if Marie write a song in english should she use the Song for Roxette, and Per, too. The Solo things should been in swedish and Roxette in english. Only if they have too much songs in english and can make a Roxette-Album and a Solo-Albun in english then is this OK. :D

I absolutely adore the English songs on her bootleg CD. I know Marie thinks of producing an English album, but feels too insecure writing songs in English. Writing in Swedish is more natural for her. Especially now her brains need some rest, so keep that as a project for better times!

I do believe that she can do it though. The songs I heard were fantastic, so I would like to support and encourage her to continue writing in English!!

As we can read on www.roxette.nl she’s feeling better and slowly starts writing music again. Those are good signs and I trust that she will be up and running some day again. I can’t wait for that to happen!!!

Marie should make a JAZZ-disc (of course, in English) at that she will not compete neither to with her participation in Roxette, nor with the solo career.

But the fact is that she has mentioned in several interviews that she wouldn’t dare do anything in English. I liked the English demos, however, “Det Som Var Nu” kinda lost something when sung in English. Her Swedish lyrics have more power in them.

well i remeber when they had a chat.. during the HAND promotion.. a question was asked 2 her about an english album.. an she said sumthing like it sounds like an interesting idea.. i cant remeber... but she was keen on the idea...

No! No! No! why do we want an album by Marie in English, great if she wants to do it but I don’t think Marie would ever make such an album she is comfortable when she is speaking her mother tongue and that is best when she sings in Swedish!
