No Fireworks on the Pop Hits ... Really Strange isn’t it ?

No, Per hates that song, but for some strange reason we all love it, , “Cos everywhere the boys went crazy just to hear these words of art!” I think it is a musical master piece. But then, the master who wrote it disagree with me… ;(

Ok if Per thinks so but he may exagerrate! If he hates it so much why was it included in CBB and why was it a single?
Fireworks Rox!

I think there’s only one reason, why Fireworks and SDLHA are not included on the POP HITS: EMI Germany does not want to make an extra disc for the Bonustracks. So they need enough space on the regular version to put the Bonustracks for the Limited Edition on the same disc.

who cares äbout EMI Electrola - Capitol Records Germany... with TBH noone did... they could easily have skipped qor and anyone to make place on that disc as well then Öo)=

@ Vaxjoe: Oh no no ... Run wasn’t on DBU - it was Vulnerable :)
Anyway, Fireworks was a safe bet from me to be included on this collection...But how wrong was I proven.. Sigh!!
Did you know that the album Crash!Boom!Bang! was first intended to be entitled “Fireworks”? I found an old letter from a Finnish Rox FC from late 1993 and there it was... :)
I can also recall FW being one MTV favourite...Or a favourite of its viewers: does anybody remember a show broadcast on that channel called Dial MTV? It was only a top-5 but still Rox charted multiple weeks every day with the song :) Great times...
FW also charted on MTV’s European Top 20 better than CBB:
*) CBB 19-20-20-19
*) FW 16-out (okay only 1 week but still...)
if anyone’s interested SIMC charted 11-7-4-4-5-9-10-13-18. I do have more positions but can’t locate them at the moment. Later then :)

@ A.K omg u re right how did it come to me? anyway RTY should be in Ballad Hits instead of vulnerable since vulnerable WAS in DBGTTC and Fireworks be in TPH.
Fair?

Hm. I also miss Fireworks on The Pop Hits Album. I think Run to you is more a ballade.

Yeah, I totally remember when it came out that the working title of the new album (“C!B!B!”) was “Fireworks”... thought that was very cool! I also remember there were rumours about making it a double album...

Hey, I’m right..!!! I’m little suspect when RTY (in spanish version) was include in Baladas En Espanol and then not appear on TBH, but on TPH. Before TBH release i guess “RTY” was appear at those tracks and Fireworks was at TPH track.

Can anyone tell a little bit more about Per hating that great song ???
I can’t believe he actually prefer “The Big L” to “Fireworks” !
vaxjoe said on March 31, 2003 15:40:
Yeah its unfair...They could have put that instead of Run To You...cause RTU was in DBGTTC , Fireworks wasnt! Plus Fireworks is more uptempo than RTU...
