Anyone else wondered why, in Goodbye to You, Marie wonders why there are Romans hiding in the dark?

hihi, never discovered that. That’s, I think, not a joke. That’s simply a mistake. But I like mistakes like that.

One thing I have noticed about Maries pronouncation on the DVD is, during and interview on really roxette, she sais something is ’dangerous’, and the letter ’g’ in dangerous she pronounces like the letter ’g’ is pronounced in ’digger’ for example. I had to smile about that, as she is able to perfectly sing ’dangerous’ without any accent at all.

Th_th: Maybe it’s because in Swedish “ng” is always pronounced like that (g always soft). It’s not so strange to mess things up with your own language when talking in another one... I can say :D

Marie also has a neat Swedish d. You can hear it especially well in Voices (“until we make to the borDerline”) or in Stars (“where the garDens grow”).

And what about Per singing:
”....I could have feld much BETter...”
“...I wish you have typed my heart a LETter..”
“......dancing so much BETter in slow-mo..”
“...they could have been, so happy toGETher...”
I think that sounds so funny....swedish/english. It’s absolute great.
Cheerz.

@ Close2U
The way he pronounces better (no idea of the ’together’ you mentioned...?) is British English. In American English the t’s fade...Even Madonna does the t-thing in some of her songs.

I never heard an english/british guy pronounce it like per does. its just typical.
