A few hours ago, my mum dropped me off at my house (I live with my dad). I was in the passenger seat, as she was parking the car on our driveway, I saw this person. I thought it was my dad, so I was about to smile at him. I could still see the person, but when I got out of the car there was no one there.
Then I thought maybe my dad ran inside, but he couldn’t have, the front door was lock, there’s just no way he could have made it inside that fast especially our door is hard to open (we’ve been meaning to fix that). Then when I got inside my dad is in his pyjamas, the guy I saw outside is in his jeans and T-shirt.
You’re probably thinking it is probably one of the neighbours, but no one was around. Bear in mind when I was in the car I saw him, my eyes is still looking at him, when I got out ...... he’s gone.
It’s like, I was looking at him, then I turned my eyes for just a second (as if I blinked) then he’s gone. I didn’t see him vanish into smoke or anything like that, he was just gone. That sometimes I’m thinking could I have just dreamt what I saw.
I keep staring on the spot where I saw the guy that my mum asked what was I looking for.

There were also times inside our house when our radio would just turn on by itself.

I think UFOs, angels, demons, ghosts... all this strange visions in fact are all the same. If you think about it a bit it’s depending on the age you’re living, and here I’m focusing especially on UFOs and demons. Demons were from the middle ages, UFOs in our technologic age... I think it’s the same thing interpreted by different points of view of the world. We have now flying object like planes... so it can be a “extraterrestrial plane”. Now here it comes my hypothesis, it came inspired by Stephen Hawking. He, when asked in travel in time was possible answered it’s not, and made a joke saying that a proof was that no one came from the future to say to us.
Well... what about all this “visions” of people, of “spacecrafts” that no one can explain? Could they be travelers in time? That came here to see how the 21st century looked like? Maybe...
I know this does not sound much scientific, but well, who knows...

One night on hte way home from work, I was driving along this country road. It was about 10.30 at night, and suddenly, right in front of me on the road, this old man appeared! I hit the brakes and was really lucky that I didn’t hit him. I was in such a shock that I didn’t really stop, but after about 200 meters, I turned around, to drive up to the old man to ask him if he is lost etc. But I couldn’t find anyone!!! I was really freaked out!!!

I haven’t seen a ghost as far as I know, but I love anything to do with the supernatural. I believe in everything ie UFO’s / aliens / Ghosts / God, everything. I haven’t personally seen one... I can feel when they are around though... (or my other weird thing is that I dream things and they happen.) My dad’s house is a duplex( Basically a house split into two equal sections to make like two smaller houses).
And on the duplex next to us lived my greatgrandfather and great grandmother. My greatgrand father passed away when I was... 12 or 13 in the house. And I believe he is still there taking care of the family. I have smelled him. He alwaysa used to wear a certain cologne. My mother had seen him several times watching over me when I was in my room goofing off. I’v also been totally alone in the house and have had my bedroom door knob completely turn by itself and my door open.
Passed that in my great grandmother’s house in Cuba every one in the family has seen a ghost of a woman (I’ve never been to Cuba so I’venever experienced it). Basically a woman (which you can see through) with a white dress and black hair goes in through the front door and out through the back door. A few hours later, she’ll come back through the back door and out through the front door. It’s always happened, and according to my gradmother’s brother, still does. No onehas been able to find out who she is or what she is looking for. Honestly, I can’t blame them,I mean would you really want to stop and ask her what’s up? :P
I have a zillion stories that have happened to people close to me. Which I know wouldn’t lie about it. You can usually tell when the person who tells the story goes white, with sweaty palms and looks scared shitless. :)

I know that many country has their “own” ghost, supernatural story. c’mon share with us..
for examples in Indonesia, we have a beach where people couldn’t wear green, or the queen of the sea will take them and there are more... like big trees, brigde, rocks etc... people believe there are spirits look after those thing.

like at the hungry ghosts festival, the ghosts of dead relatives etc are released for a day to come to earth. so people burn fake money (from the bank of hell!) so that the ghosts can spend it, and prepare big feasts for them, and have open air theater for entertainment. its acutally quite fun if u look at it, but you better not step on the ashes of burnt “hell money” else you will get boils on your foot.
with a festival like THAT, who would doubt it!!
I rememeber when I was in primary school there was this rumor started about this creature who wore a long black cloak, had long hair and nails, and bascially stucked the blood right out of you.

HEre’s another ghost story which I am sure you have heard one variation or another... I’ll remember to ask my grandfather some other freaky thing that happened.
Anyway... A taxi driver is driving past a cemetary *turns off the lights and points the flash light towards her face >;)* when he sees a young woman with a pretty dress and a white scarf standing there seemingly needing a lift. So, he picks her up and she tells him where to go. He drives her to her home and she gets off the car and tells him that she will be back with her fare. a few minutes pass by and the girl does not come back out. So, he gets off the car and knocks on the door and an old lady answers the door. So he explains that there was a woman that he drove here and that she never paid him. The old lady tol dhim that was impossible and that she lived alone.
as they are speaking he sees a painting on the wall of the girl that he drove to the house. Pointing it out to the old lady he tells her that is the girl that he drove to the house. The old lady replies that it couldn’t be because that was her granddaughter that had passed away some years ago. Confussed he heads back to his cab and when he looks back he sees the girls scarf in the back seat.
Muahahahaaa.. ;)

Not all are... but most stories you hear usually have a woman in it.
One of our channels here love to play shows on ghost stories one of them has to do with the battlegrounds from the Civil war that supposedly you can see the wars re-enacted by ghosts.
The strange part is that no one is ever able to get anything on camera. Usually they get what are called orbs which are these like flying balls of light but never an actual ghost. Supposedly ghosts even drain the power from video and regular cameras so who knows.
In the house I stay at in Gaineville, my friend and I keep haering footsteps in this little room upstairs, we are just to ofreaked to go see what it is. LOL!

jackie, acutally ive heard there is really a story like the one u just related...in north carolina, along a lonely road ( what else!? ) there is a sharp turn in the road. on the other side of the road there is a house that stands alone, no neighbours ,nothing. now at this particular place, there are HUGE mirrors, so when you drive along, suddenly your headlights are reflected right back at you. if u stop, and get out or something, a woman comes yelling out of the house, just SCREAMING at you. apparently her daughter was killed at that junction by a guy going too fast, and the woman put up mirrors so that people would be more careful. but shes stark ravin mad !!!!! :P
the girl who told me this story was really there, and really got yellled at etc

Well,and,maybe you all think that i’m crazy,but...sometimes i have dreams that come true...like,i dreamed once,about some famous person,who falled into a pit,and,into that pit,was a train,driving very fast,always making rounds,so,she the train killed here,a few days after it,i woke up,with the news “.... is dead” Man,i was very young,and i was soooo scared of myself,i haven’t told anyone,since some year or 2,i told my mom....
Another story,some guy from work,i dreamed someone stood behind him,with a weapon,trying to kill him,i screamed “watch out!!!!!!!!” then the dream stopped,well,i duno why,but,i felt i had to tell him,so,i told him,he laughed with it,he went to a supermarket,and,almost got hit by a truck

@kachina: we do have so many ghost stories here. People always asummed, that women who died because of giving birth will turn into ghost... when I was little, I was terrifying with that kind of ghost.

Most of the women in my mom’s side of the family, have like some... hmmm... not sure how to explain it. But, if my mother ever tells someone about something serious, pay attention because 100% of the time it happens or almost happens.
Dreams, not always but occassionaly I dream something and it happens. I do believe in the occult which I never used to since I was in Catholic school for like 14 years (and since 97 I’ve been FREEEEE!!!). But there are things that occur that science can not and probably will never explain.
My weirdest thing was a connection that I had with a friend of mine (we aren’t freinds anymore so since then that bond sorta crashed which is good). It was actually freaky. If something happened to her arm, let’s stay... I would have the feeling of it happening to my other arm. Now, it would happen without me even knowing that she was hurt.
A few years back she got in a pretty bad car accident and the moment the other car hit her I knew she got into some sort of accident. So i called her folks and told them to immediately find her that something happen. Sure enough, she got in a crash.
I don’t practice Voo Doo, Santeria or any other freaky deaky thing. I have studied Wicca and I think it’s a very interesting religion, so not what we all think about it. But it’s too much of a commitment to get into anything like that. So I just sit back, relax. If I can help out someone I do so if I can’t I don’t and that is it. :)
I know everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe. But some people need to have a bit of an open mind about what is really out there. Just because you never seen it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exsist. ;)
