I suppose Per’s wife always looked a little bit older than him because of her specific face features (is this correct in English?). She has, let’s say, a “big face” (a very common one among the Swedish women, in my oppinion) and even when she was 30 one could say that she has something “too mature” in her physical appereance. She’s a strange mixture between a childish appereance and an old woman appereance. Anyway, her “bad luck” was that of being with a man whose face is not very far from that of a teenager (even now Per has something really funny in his figure - he smiles somehow candidly and he has big eyes). So, I think the element that we’ve payed attention to was that of the CONTRAST between them - Per has a teenager’s air, and Asa always looks a little bit older than she really is. But I think she also has something funny in her figure (they have sometimes the same expression - which could be just “contamination” - they live together for so long!). On the whole, you guys are used to see them together, but, objectively speaking, I don’t think they match physically... But Asa is ok in my oppinion... One could be attracted to her, but she’s not undoubtedly an “objective” beauty.
