Aha, so it’s my fault if I want to know what I’m spending my money for. Cool.

Has anybody any idea about the look of the EMI-related stuff just released on shop.roxette.nl?

I guess not :-/ Would be nice to know how all those things look like...
BTW, I’m glad someone realised the new single’s not called “Opportunity _K_nox” ;-)

Yea, in the e-mail we got the single was called “Oppportunity Knox”.

BTW could someone upload pictures of these new items? I’d be pretty much interested in them, however, it’d be cool to have a glance at the items before ordering them.

What is KNOX???? Is it a new one?:-))) Hey, guys, at least the fanclub should spell titles correct! On the other hand; “Room Service” are two words as well...

You can order the Pop-Hits merchandise at the fanshop until next Monday!
But I am still waiting for the Ballad Hits items ordered last November!!!!!
I guess for the Pop-Hits items you have to wait until next winter....

don’t seem to be that nice articles anyway... what use have 20 label that you can stick on wine bottles, or a stupid plastic cocktail shaker? With TBH there were at least some decent promo items

Well, at least it’s always a big adventure to order at the fanshop...Will I get anything? What will I get? When will I get it? Only one thing is for sure: My money is gone.

@Judith & Pietro: It wasn’t only wrong in the email, but also in the fanshop when I checked for the first time! And not only once, but twice...

...and the deep silence from the fanclub in this case...

You can be perfectly sure that we´d put pix on the Website if we had any, so I assume we´re as clever as you are on how those items look like. Sorry.

I don’t really care if the merchandise is delayed, but I am worried that other items I have paid for are missing – I am waiting for the Marie Box Set from October - has anyone received their box set yet, is there a delay for everyone? – I don’t care if it is delayed, but I am worried that maybe they have posted it but it has got lost – hey, please don’t suggest that I e-mail them because I have e-mailed “info@” 4 times about the box set, on 23 November (when I was told it would be 1 week), 8 January (when I was told about the blanket packaging), 3 February and 18 February – I have not received a reply about these last 2 questions about the box set – I want to say that I think that the fanclub, and the people who run it, are great - I am a great admirer of what they do - but on this occasion I am worried that they have had my money for so long and more importantly are not replying to my questions about it, which is worrying and unfair - all I need to know is that there is a delay then I will be happy, but I am afraid that they are missing - I really don’t know what else I can do.

So to make things clear and avoid misunderstanding and further complaints: if I’m right,

-the FanClub is offering items nobody seen so far, not even those who run the FanShop. Not only they haven’t seen the items themselves, they don’t even seen photos of those;

-fans interested in *official* merchandise (like me) must order and pay for the items before Monday, that is, in three days from now, without having any idea how the items look like, since not only the website lacks any pictures or descriptions, but they cannot ask for futher information on the products from the merchant, as they are unable to provide them with any details.

I’m not commenting on this, everyone should decide what kind of behaviour it is.

I asked in another threat, but nobody answered me: Do you know if they get the items from EMI Sweden or EMi Holland or whatever???

Well, as noone is answering... after arguing with the fc about not receiving blankets last week... i’ve bene told that stuff came from EMI INTERNATIONAL, so it’ll probably be the same this time

Well, Pietro maybe you can send a mail to [email protected] or [email protected] and ask (with all the good reasons you put down here) to give some more days.......

I’m also still waiting for the Marie Box Set. I have ordered it in December. I also mailed at [email protected] but I didn’t receive a reply so far. But I can’t understand why it takes so much time.
The Box Set is everywhere available. I only orderd it at the fanshop because it was cheaper there.

I have order the mechanise, without to seen pics ;-) OK I´m crazy, but the sound of the things are so exotic and I want to have the things.
I hope the things are so great how expensive this are ;-)

Indeed, once again you´ve managed to use the lack of information EMI gives us to bash the bad, bad, bad Fanclub... *sigh*

IMHO it´s great that those items are for sale at all...
We provide ALL information that WE got. What else do you expect us to do?

There´s still the possibility to wait until those items appear on eBay, with nice pictures, and buy them second-hand for a much higher price... Go ahead and do that if you don´t want to order from the bad bad Fanclub... it´s your decision.

And it should be everyone else´s decision, so I really don´t get the sense of your “opinion-making” against the Fanclub here.

Anyhow, since I´m not able to provide more information to the topic “new fan-shop articles”, this is going to be my last reply to this discussion.

well... alchemiste... i agree with YOU. its NOT your fault that EMI have failed to provide you with pics. at least you are giving the fans the chance to get these items!

Once upon a time we had a thread...not so very long ago.....does anyone remember it? coz I was hoping it would kind of be the last we’d have to hear about how things go wrong etc. It seems I’m having de ja vu ;P

And now I shall be flamed for being rude LOL.

I know that alot of ppls have worked very hard at sorting out this fanshop and the delays.....but why keep selling stuff when you can’t get the ordinary stuff shipped out.....or ordered in etc.
I’m still considering wether to re-join or not, might just buy future reviews on ebay ;)

as for the “silence” I think I already said it before, that the “fanclub people” is not usually visiting this forum (they are more often in r2r forum), except from Stefan and myself, and that most of the times when they reply here is because either Stefan or me has pointed them to the thread.

This time I have done the same. The process goes like this, fanclub gets an email from EMI with the stuff that’s available with a deadline for placing the order. So let’s say the deadline is on 25th (just guessing) - they need to know how many of each items they need *before* 25th, so that’s why the deadline is on 24th.

As per the pictures, in the past I remember Ronald / FC has had to request for pictures (also for the fleence stuff) and EMI has taken its time to send them... so cmon, the offer was posted yesterday night, so 24hrs ago, *maybe* the EMI person responsible for that was too busy today as to send pictures to the FC?

Descriptions: you can read a short description of each of the articles in the fanshop, when you click on the item number (i think). Most of the items come with the pop hits logo...

so well, let’s hope EMI can provide with the pictures, if not, well, then either you take the risk ;) and place the order and expect a surprise or you wait till the items are on ebay or at some record fair at double price.
What else to do? The way you put it out here sounds as if the fanclub *doesn’t* want to provide any pictures... which is not true.. :/ At least collectors (and not that avid collectors) now have the chance to buy these items, which, I think, are actually only produced for all the EMIs to promote Roxette (they send such items to radio stations, reporters, shops... ), and not for the fans to buy them....

weel all i have to say is for those peopel who feel like they have been this mistresated you to have the option of contacting your post master general and letting them see what they can do.i do believe that by most laws you are entitled to recieve items you have purchased throught the mail within a reasonable time event...just like when yu buy something on ebay..if it takes 5 months and it should have taken a week ebay refunds you the monetary value in most cases.. while i know alot of people are waiting for items they purchased this may be one of your only alternatives

So why don’t you give ppl the facts in the emails you send or on your website? You’re just pretending to be so damn hurt & feeling sorry for yourselves when somebody critizises your way of working. And only after that you start explaining the situation like it was obvious and we (or they) just should have known that!
