They say that Roxette should be at 52 with the ballad hits - but in their album section...nothing...
In Roxette’s section...nothing - they have sold out obviosuly and just not bothered re-ordering!!!!!
They had two copies of ATAY - one which I bought and the other will probably jusy get binned!
I will only shop at Virgin from now on!

I have no idea whether TBH was released in Canada or not. I ordered it through HMV when I was away in California and received it oh well not on time.
I went to HMV a few weeks ago hoping they’d have the single ATAY. Not only they didn’t have the single, they didn’t have TBH and guess what?? The only Roxette CD they had was a DBUGTTC!! A BROKEN ONE!!! And that CD has been sitting there for ages. You can see the dust on it. I know it’s been there forever cause whenever I am in the mall I go to HMV and check out the Roxette shelf. Oh well what can I say!! When they released Room Service and HAND here, they didn’t even bother putting it in the New Release section.

TBH was released in Canada, only it was released a couple of weeks later than they said. In Canada (at least all the record stores I’ve seen) they only carry to Roxette CD’s... the latest one and the greatest hits.

That copy of ATAY I was on about in my first post.......it’s still on its own in Virgin megastore! Just the one copy :( so they’ve sold 2 copies this week.....to me.

I think you’ll find they’re nearly as bad ......I got my copies from Virgin yesterday in the new release section.....there were 3 on the shelf and I brought 2......god knows what’ll happen to that other one.....I’ll check tomorow to see if its still on its own.
Also.....when I asked in Virgin about TBH a week b4 it was released....the girl behind the counter said they’d be ordering 11 copies. 11! what bloody good is 11?? is it just a random number they thought up? ;)
And on another note..... ;)
If these shops sell out....and normal ppls* go in and try and buy it....they see its not there...they aint going to be bothered about asking if theres more copies, which could mean a few lost sales, which could mean lower chart position which leads to less promo for ON & TPH (if we ever get it).
It’s the part time Rox fans who need to be targeted, not the die hards who’ll buy anything on the shelf...... I really hope to be able to see a few more copies of the album out of the shelves when I check tomorow.
*when I say normal ppls, I mean ppls who wouldn’t go and buy the record unless they’d seen/heard it advertised, not big time Rox fans in other words.
Am I going on?.....does this make sense? ;)
