Worst film you ever seen?

I think Titanic was really boring.

bloody “Gladiator” grrr...i walked out at the intermission aahahahhaaaaa

that stupid movie stole the award from the AWESOME film “Billy Elliot:born to dance”

:(

Worst film? Almost all of those Hollywood crap. And the sad thing about it: They only show these in the cinema. :o(

agree with Thebitterone!

hmmm i’ve seen so many who can choose simply one?!!! i mean seriously, Hollywood has gone totally downhill in like the last 10 years!! I do love 80’s movies though....hehehe but maybe thats just the 80’s girl in me??? *cheeky lil grinz*

Roxie

XXX, pathetic actor, pathetic story, pathetic movie!

...and pathetic the ppl who sit and watch it!

*rofl* :P

Being in a relationship requires sacrifices…don’t worry you’ll learn that one day :)

:p i agree @sacrifices BUT

-i dont watch films that i dont like thats a torture not a sacrifice ;o)

sacrifice is

-staying up all nite when someones in pain and going to work the next morning
-spending all your money cause ur friend is broke and go broke yourself in the end
-let someone go their own way though u love them
-smile and try to support someone even though u re crying inside...

but then again..thats just me

“i am the one and only
nobody i’d rather be
i am the one and only
you cant take that away from me”

anything with Steven Seagal on it.

i may add

Rocky + Rambo

I don’t know the name in English, but in swedish it’s “stjärnor utan hjärnor”. It’s about two guys, Jay and Slient Bob. Uh... My God! And “dude, where’s my car?”. That’s NOT humour!!!

Ali G in da house is terrible too.

Arachnophobia

Independence Day and all those other stupid american action movies.
And A Beautiful Mind, that movie really s*cked...

in my book has to be/ ’The beach’ my family love it. but i felt sick to the bone. didnt see the end.

All Steveny Seagal, Cristophery Lambert and Chucky Norris.

stupid american action movies gee thankl the last tiem i saw anythign remotely foreign i fell asleeep lol

allright then, name one good american action movie from last year, cause I really can’t think of one!;) and don’t give me the Scorpion King or Spiderman!!!hahaha

Some film called “The Reflecting Skin”. It was pretentious and disturbing. It tries to be like David Lynch, but fails miserably. :-)

coy: guess that’s because you didn’t get the story :)

stillfar lol :p

european cinema is better by far than hollywood movies...american movies are all the same...in the end they get married...they get saved...they save the world...they beat the bad “foreigners” etc etc

puh so many.

I usually don’t like spanish films, I think they are quite bad in general.

To comment on some of the films you mentioned:

I saw Titanic in the cinema when it was out, and i thought it was ok, at least well done, but trying to see it a second time was a sacrifice, actually, i didnt finish watching it, too long, too boring, too much attention to the love story.

Gladiator: i didnt see it on the cinema but on a dvd, trying one of those home cinema equipments at a friends place. I found it quite boring, specially with that field where he is walking in from time to time, i didnt see it that great movie at all.

Billy Elliot was far far better, i remember i was sitting at the cinema shivering and really feeling the film.

Action movies: i usually don’t like them, some are ok to watch, but just once and when you dont feel like thinking so much, cuz you know already how it will end :P

Maybe we should write about the most confusing films ever made:

- Sånger från andra våningen, a.k.a. Songs From the Second Floor
- Mishima

Not that I hated them, I just didn’t understand them, or what the fuss was all about.

@Judith: I hope you’re not lumping Almodóvar with the other Spanish films! He’s a hoot.

The last “worst” movie i´ve seen is AI.... Artificial Intelligence.... it couldn’t be more stupid.

You know, everyone here keeps putting down “American” films and “foreign” films (depending on where you’re at). You know... at this rate, you might as well just stay home!!!

My good grief people, there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to movies. No one says you have to like American style flicks, or Japanese style flicks... this was about a SPECIFIC movie. No matter what someone says, it starts an arguement lately between people. I’m not gonna name people, you know who you are.

Cut each other a break. No one said you had to like these types of movies. Everyone has their own tastes. I know a lot of people that liked “Arachnophobia”. Personally, I walked out on it about 1/4 the way through. Yet, I happen to like different Chuck Norris films, not for the story, but for the fact that this man has gone from nothing to something and IS a proficient Martial Artist. I can hack Titanic only once in a GREAT while.

I think Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of the greatest all time films and is considered a cult classic. My best friend can’t stand it. It makes him uncomfortable to watch it. These are only MY opinions, no one else’s. Take it or leave it.

all the teenage movies! they’re all stupid!!!

Mission Impossible 2

After reading comments, have to change that to
Artificial Intelligence (was washed away from my memory; that’s why I did not mention it directly).

I don’t like Almodóvar either, at least I dont like many of his films. For me most of the Spanish films are quite bad, the older, the worse though :P
Or the newer the better. But in general, I don’t like them.

’Hannibal’, was YAWN!! Suppose to be the scariest film ever made. I was sat in the cinema thinking, ok it’ll get scary in a minute... then the credits rolled. It was the BIGGEST load of tosh ever!

This weekend i saw Austin Powers 2.
It was meant to be funny, but it wasn’t funny anywhere!

@Spooks - That was exactly the same point I was about to make.

Anyway....worst film I’ve ever seen.....mmmmm......worst film I’ve seen recently is:

’XXX’ supposed to be James Bond on acid.....well....the acid must’ve been bloody weak then, even the corny punch lines in the James Bond film were better than this, Van Diesel let me down. :(

Just thought of some more :

I just realized how pants ’Jurassic Park’ was after watching it again on tv last weekend.....I was hoping they’d changed the ending so that the Raptors actualy ate the entire (remaining) cast especialy the kids!

’Titanic’......oh god that was bloody boring! I’d have thrown Di Caprio off the boat right at the start....end of film! hooray ;)

Anyone ever seen ’Romeo Must Die’ with Jet Li in it? thats crap too! the good bits were in the trailer! :P

The last worst movie I saw was DEFINITELY XXX!! Jeez, that was bad!! It was brainless and stupid, just a big showoff of how bad Vin Diesel is as an actor!! Sure, it’s like Bond, but replace smarts with stupidity!!

Um, sure, many American movies are really bad, but there ARE a handful that are deservedly critically acclaimed and are smart. Two I can think of: “One Hour Photo” and “Minority Report”. A new one that looks great: “Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind”, and “Catch Me If You Can” looks like a smart fun movie.

I couldn’t stand “Gladiator” either, so boring I fell asleep!! And I really hate what I call STEROID movies, those with all action and no brains. I can tell the new “Daredevil” will be one of those.

Another really bad movie is: The Animal, with Rob Schneider.

After seeing that movie, i can never watch a movie again with that “actor” in it anymore, because it makes me think of this nightmare of a movie.

SIN CITY

don’t like rob schneider either. his appearence in 50 first dates ruin the movie (which already bad already).

here’s the worst movies i ever seen :
-Street Fighter
-romeo must die
-the one
-cradle to the grave
-american pie 2 (haven’t seen american pie 1)
-wild things 2
-along came polly
-lara croft (both)
-Rush Hours 2 (havent seen rush hour 1)
-Freddy and Jason
-bring it on 2 (haven seen bring it on 1)
-american sweetheart
-scooby doo (1&2)
-dumb and dumberer
-dumb and dumberer 2
-pet detective
-nowhere to run

and many more :)

i like titanic minus the love story.

THE worst film I have ever seen is definitely “Easy Rider”. An old really horrible bad motorcacle film form the 70th!

The second worst is Quentin Tarrantinos “Natural Born Killers”! Superbad!!

Dogma & Constantine - both films about relgioun which are yawn-worthy. They make my blood curdle.

Likewise The Beach....got very angry watching that! Soooo bad it wasn’t good!

Van Helsing. Really bad actors, bad screenplay etc.

Anything animated!

including finding nemo???

i really didnt enjoy Gosford Park

i watched aeon flux last weekend, and the only thng good is charlize theron hairstyle ;)

I tend to dislike anything by Quentin Tarantino.

really? i think he’s one of the most unique directror ever. I like his Kill Bill. but I just can watch that once because I can’t stand the violence.

Well, I don’t like red colour that much. For me he’s unique also, it’s plainly disgusting. I hate his films.

- Terminator 3 was horrible.
- Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and all the movies based on video-games... poor video-games
- American Pie
- Movies from my country
- Batman saga
- Star Wars

the worst movies i’ve seen are OPEN WATER and RESURECTION.... the most boring movies you can imagine... the people in the cinema after watching open water were saying to get their money back! a friend told me that, and what to say about the other one...

War Of The Worlds

best part about it was the soundtrack!

The Visitors,Warballs,Lord of the Rings,Hidalgo

I saw War of the World the other day and it was really horrible... well it’s based on a bad book.
