Update on TBH in Australia

The Ballad Hits in Australia to date has not been promoted at all by EMI Australia.
The album has been released locally but many stores report “They do not have it in stock”
There has been no single release of “A Thing About You” to date.
Amazingly the CD is not copy-protected as it does not have the label on the back or sticker on the front explaining that it is copy protected.
All up EMI have so far sat on their butts and released an album without any promotion, single release, in store advertising. Basically a very pathetic job.

if we’re lucky EMI will put TBH on their ads, but they’ve got a thing where they seem to forget that Roxette are still with EMI!!
Hopefully something big happens in the US/UK and then we’ll see them do some real promotion!

Can you believe it! EMI OZ actually updated their Roxette webpage, and only 2 weeks after the release date.
Sadly still no promo :(

Yep, its not good whats happening here. I would like to see it being promoted too. But if you were EMI why would you promote it? CBB disapeared from the charts fairly quicky, then HAND was a bomb, RS was a bigger bomb, no hit since 1994. For them to do mega promotion for TBH here, ATAY and TBH needed to be huge overseas before they would even consider it. That hasnt really happened. Maybe we will see it on tv soon when EMI does those ads for like 5 albums just before Christmas :P If TBH does well overseas we should see some promotion. Give them some time, like DBGTTC :)
