mmmm the only things I’ve ever seen on ebay that are illegal are bootlegs of live recordings.

Its true you can get things on ebay that are cheaper but they are only cheaper after about 3 months or so....after everyone who wants a copy so bad has got one.

I’ve ordered from the FC because I have been assured my items will arrive and I thought I’d test the theory out ;) plus....I want the book as soon as possible...it’s also cheaper and so’s postage.

I sit and wait....please don’t disapoint me FC ;)

Thank God I read this message in time!!! I had already pre-ordered the book at Premium Publishing and I had asked for their payment methods. Indeed, they ask 21 EUR for shipping and 43 EUR for the book and you have to send the whole amount in cash (!) by registered mail, which makes it even more expensive. But the good thing is, that you pay first and then get the book. If you don’t pay, you don’t get the book.
Well, I just sent a mail back saying that all this high sipping costs a.s.o. are too expensive and risky for me and I cancelled my order and now I ordered it at the Fanshop. I wonder what Premium Publishing’s reaction will be.

I could copy paste your message, I also pre-ordered the book, got an e-mail about payment methods, wondered for two days what to do ... then read the fanclub e-mail this morning and right away cancelled the order to the Premium Publishing! ;)

I just got a reply from Premium Publishing which said:

“Your order is cancelled. No problems.”

Yeah, with that ridiculous shipping cost and no on-line payment options, I don’t think they really expect to sell much outside of Scandinavia anyway:)

We, the R.F.O. (Roxette Fan Organisation), are going to sell the book. We make no profit, and get the books directly from the publisher. All books that are bought with us will be signed by the author (the books at the Fanshop are not). Also, we’ll make sure all books are delivered before christmas! Our site is still ’under contruction’, but will be launched completely very soon. The URL is: http://www.trfo.tk All of the books ordered with us will include the EP. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. (BTW, you can pay by means of bank transfer)

Nice to have some more “shopping” places though.

We don’t know the exact price yet, but it wont be expensive, because we get the books directly from the author and we (nor the author) make any profit. If you live in Holland, you can even come and pick the book up in Utrecht if you have an Ov or something. We’ll announce price as soon as we know...within the next 2 days i guess

but until now there was no need to stress this! :-)

Of course the EP is included...
And you´ll have a hard time finding lower postage rates than ours (8 Euro).

You lied to us too many times to beleive more!
You too often lose fan’s money, items are undelivered, or late for half a year.
And of course - NO PROFIT - look for a DVD price and compare to EBay prices - for FuckClub price I may get two DVDs!!!

Our items are brand new, we deliver them for sure, and of course we only sell originals. There you go, hence the price. Feel free to get an illegal copy of a DVD that has been used already if you´re feeling better then.

Anyway, since you seem to be very interested in my purchases, I´ll gladly inform you that all the stuff Thomas sent to me (once again thanks, Tom!) was either never available at the Fanshop (“Room Service” cassette) or it was already sold out - I happened to miss a few items during the last years. I really do hope you feel better now...

By the way I´ve already ordered my “The Ballad Hits” promo stuff at the Official Fanshop. Does any other place offer these items?

hu, another fanshop discussion. yeah! ;o) of course everyone’s able to order whereever he wants, i just wanted to say i was very happy to find it in the fanshop. it’s cheap, you get an extra photo, you don’t need a credit card and i’m sure they’ll send it soon since they’ve solved most of their problems.

Actually, the online paying system, “Bibit”, cannot work with my credit cards (Visa or MasterCard), eventhough Amazon.com or any other company have no problems with my cards. I tried ordering many items through fanclub over past 2 years, but I had to go to other online shops because of failures of that “Bibit”

Reviewing this thread... I’m amazed at both the hypocrisy and the level of insults that at aimed at various parties.

@Vixter: You have been so very vocal about the fanclub in the past, in fact down right rude... And now you want to purchase from them!? Incredible.

@Kibkalo: You obviously have strong views against the FC but is it really necessary to sink to that level of name calling?

I’ve been assured that things have been sorted out.....I hope I’m not to be disapointed. I find the Fanshop is better than before some Month.
If you have question you can call with people from the FC and they answer the question very fast.
And I think the Fanshop want to have a second chance and they get it from me.

I have Order the Discography from the Fanshop and the After-Tourbook I will get it without a Order why I´m a member from the Fanclub. And I think I get it befor Chrismas so I get it a Chrismaspresent from the Fanshop :-)

Go to the News about RFO section. We also have an official annoluncement from Robert, the author of the book.

We will also sell the discography book, for a great price. However, until we don’t have it on stock, we won’t have the option to order it. That is, we don’t charge your credit card in advance, pretending an item available when it’s not.
