Groove Coverage ripping off Roxette's "Jefferson"!

Wow, I just saw this on www.roxette.nl and frankly am amazed. Part of the band Groove Coverage’s song “God is a girl” is almost an exact copy (music only, not lyrics) of the refrain in “Jefferson”. Granted, there may be a very slight difference (one or two notes), but for the most part, it’s identical! If there were ever a case where a lawsuit would be warranted, this might be it (although I doubt Per will pursue this).
Listen for yourself by downloading the zip file at the following URL.

You will be amazed!

I sent an e-mail yesterday to this DJ asking about his song and Roxette’s “Jefferson”. He doesn’t mention Roxette anywhere in his web site. Try e-mailing him if you want: http://www.groove-coverage.de

It’s quite obvious that this is a copy of the Jefferson melody. If they did not pay for it, sue them.

I can’t believe it...the entire song is a copy of the refrain from Jefferson...
HOW MORE OBVIOUS CAN IT GET!!!!

It could be a coincidence. “Jefferson” sounds a lot like the Tom Petty song, but I can’t remember the name...someone out there will remember and know what I’m talking about.
