Need info about copy-protected CD made in Europe

Hej!
Just wondering if anyone could give me a tip on how to tell if new CD’s made in Europe are either copy protected or PC protected. Is it just the major labels that are doing this? Is it with all of their artists?
CDON used to provide this information, but I don’t see it there any more. I was going to order the new Mendez CD and a couple of compilation CD’s with my order for TBH and ATAY from skivhugget.com, but I do not want to buy them if the damn things won’t play on my PC’s! I’ve already been burned twice with the new Ace of Base CD and the last Scooter hits compilation.
Also, isn’t Mendez with Stockholm Records? I don’t think they’re protecting CD’s because the last CD’s from E-type and Richi M were not protected.
Any news would be appreciated!

well, it appears that they do for some (like the new Foo Fighters and Scooter’s Push the Beat For This Jam, but they show nothing for either Ace of Base’s Da Capo (will not play on PC’s) or Kent’s newest CD (copy protected). Nice that they have some info, but I can hardly rely on them as they’re not consistant.
