Een recentie over de dvd. Zo maar.
“Roxette - Complete collection 1987-2001
Het complete hitoverzicht van de Zweedse groep op een rijtje... alles wat roxette aanraakte leek in goud te veranderen. Leek, want tegenwoordig krijgen ze met moeite kleine concertzalen vol in Duitsland. Toch is er absoluut niets mis met de muziek die de Zweedse groep nog steeds met grote regelmaat aflevert. Deze dvd laat zien waar Roxette goed in is, het maken van popsingles. Over airplay heeft de band nog steeds niets te klagen, maar niemand weet dat het Roxette is waar naar geluisterd wordt. Naast alle grote hits (en overige singles, 40 in totaal!) bevat de DVD ook nog twee documentaires van elk bijna een uur die een beeld geven van het leven van de band. Een echte aanrader voor de fan, maar ook voor iemand die een groot aantal hits uit de afgelopen decennia in huis willen halen.”

The complete hitcollection of Swedish Popgroup Roxette on one disc... everything roxette touched was changing into gold. Was, because nowadays they have to do a lot to get a little venue sold-out in Germany. But there isn’t anything wrong with the music which the swedish group still with big regularity delivers. This dvd shows where Roxette is good at, and thats the making of popsingles. They still don’t have to complain about airplay, but nobody knows it is roxette where they are listening to. Beside their greatest hits (and other singles, 40 in total!) this dvd also has two documentairies which both have a lenght of almost one hour which give an impression of the bands live/life. A real recommendation for the real fan, but also for someone who wants to get a big number of hits from the past decennia.

pascal, ik ben bij genoeg concerten in duitsland geweest van de RS tour om te weten dat ze niet allemaal even vol zaten en dat is wel eens anders geweest...
