Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson is said to be in “up and in good spirits” after an operation to remove a brain tumour.
Marie was diagnosed with a tumour after she fell at home and knocked her head. Doctors are confident that she will make a full recovery.
Marie’s bandmate Per Gessle called into a Stockholm radio station to say: “Marie is well, considering the circumstances. She is up and in good spirits, but is naturally dazed after what has happened. It has naturally been a tough time for her - and for us all.”

Apparently this morning on BBC Radio 1’s morning show, Sara Cox was slating Roxette.
She said something along the lines of - that swedish rock band, the woman with th bad hair and the guy who couldn’t play guitar.
Then announced it was roxette who were so bad.
Perhaps we need to send her hate mail?
